Quicklime When limestone is heated to around 900 ° C in calcining ovens (lime kilns), it takes on the appearance of powdery stones on the surface - chemically speaking of calcium oxide - called quicklime. That was extremely impressive.
Thank you
I must say the fire to cut down the trees was actually a pretty cool way to do so
Amazing and beatiful stone house handmade , we must to learn .
Bravo! Standing Ovation! Thank You for sharing this ... true inspiration.
Those skills worth gold, just who build or love the art of arquitecture will understand
Oh, my, that floor work would cost a fortune here in the states. :)
And he did it ALL for $0. NICE. 🙂
The permits would be a hassle to obtain!
It would be a little flatter though, to be fair. This is basic building like our ancestors used to do right up until the medieval period.
When are you coming back, friend? I want to see your homemade village grow!
Off spending his money from this video🤑
I absolutely love that little house it is beautiful I would love to have a nice vacation in it but I have to tell you that roof was amazing I've never seen anything like that in my life you did such a wonderful job on that
I am very impressed with his self reliant skills.
this is how I thought I looked when I went outside and built a clubhouse in our forest when I was little lmao
Amazing. I wish he could have helped us kids build our fort in the woods. Our stick and string buildings didn't last very long, especially when some other kids decided to declare war and attack us, ha.
Exactly how I felt when I built the treehouse in the back yard when I was a kid. We had a bunch of that big green fishing net due to the grandpa being a shrimper and stuff. We had a pully and a bucket...and one piece of plywood to hold us on that big ass branch. We were gods...

you are a man of focus, commitment and sheer will. you saw a place where there was no cobblestone house and said "No no no-This will not do."
You‘re a genius ! I learned a lot from your video, Thank you !!
Even adobe houses had long and thick bearer beams over the doors and windows. Adobe is also primitive tech, so the guy could have applied that bit as well. Anyway, it is great to see how inventive people must have been in ancient times without metal tools. Thanks a lot! Great vid!
Except he is using a metal knife and small wedge.
@@chrisknoll1910 he didnt used to use metal at all.
@@1sharewithu771 , it's clearly a metal instrument here: ua-cam.com/video/4inMw8oTgGo/v-deo.html.
And then, immedately after, that knife sure looks like it has a metal blade on it.

Primitive Life guy: Naw...I'm good.

Beautiful build thanks for sharing.
Made his own tools, his own ingredients for mortar from self-made kilns..all from nature, then put it all together for a house! Amazing!
love the concrete mixing old way
This easily qualifies as a PhD thesis. Give the man a professorship at a university of his choice.
Really, being a Neanderthal qualifies a person to be a professor? He reminds me of homeless people, shitting in the streets of San Francisco...
@@joekng9924 Id like to see a video of you building a stone house entirely from the earth...
@@joekng9924 its harder than it looks. natural ways of living require more transfer knowledge than most science in the universities of today. its no use to be a theoretical genius when your knowledge has no practical use for society / humanity... this guys has the knowledge, that will be demanded in the future, im sure. we humans lost a lot on the way to "civilization", primitive doesnt mean poor or not enough, it is just a more natural way than the consumption orientated western society :)
@@joekng9924 It would be PhD worthy because of his knowledge of ancient techniques. It's one thing to recite answers for a test, its another to actually put it to use and build the stuff.
@@evanforst7272 Ah yes, the "I'd like to ee you do blank" arguement. So effective.
Amazing quality work very much enjoyed watching this young man stunning house xx
I love how all these guys keep their homes and themselves clean and neat, even living in the most remote places of the earth :) And I like how he built the house around the doors.
Anyone else's joints start to hurt while watching? lol
Joints, hands, and feet. And I was remembering blisters while he was hacking trees with a hatchet made from worn stone.
When he was setting down breaking rocks my back started to hurt
I mainly ask myself how many stings and poison lives out there
Dude, cant wait for the new Armoured Base Tutorial for rust! XD hes upgrading his base
Very impressive and fascinating. I fell asleep watching this and when I woke, I quickly took a shower, made a cup of coffee and came back to where I remembered leaving off. Well done❤️
can we just take a sec to appreciate how at peace this man must be?
And bored out of his mind once the sun goes down, IF he's on his own. ;-)
@@AnthonyIlstonJones 😂😂😂😂😂
Only on the weekends. Mo-Fri he's an international multi billion dollar corporate CEO.
I mean REALLY!
@@AnthonyIlstonJones Lol! Maybe not! Some people are perfectly fine on their own. Total introverts. Not me!
How long did it take you? Incredible work!
when you break the world down, it's someone like him who rebuilds it. amazing. I would have put mortar on the outside wall. But since it is an incredible amount of work to mix and collect it yourself, you can understand why he didn't go any further. Really very impressive
Yes and whitewashed it.. but he did a real good job with such thin walls
I was all wore out just watching him! He’s a brilliant guy and I enjoyed watching his video of re-building the stone house. Great job.
Muito lindo trabalho parabéns incrível 😄🤙🤙
Out in the woods, the big bad wolf was so gratified when he saw the house of sticks, but now he's back on Zoloft again.
Man over matter. Amazing! For some reason I nearly cried when I saw the waterproof roof mats. I think this man's Creator in Heaven might have been smiling down on him and what he did with what he was given.
I absolutely agree with you!
Awesome stonework. I love your new house 🏠
