Ive had this collar for a long time and it worked so well I didn't need to use it very long. I put it away for quite sometime then needed it again. The battery was dead and I couldn't find my charger and didn't remember what it looked like. I got on UA-cam to try and find a video that would show how to charge it so I could see what the charger looked like. I couldn't find anything until I came across your channel. Thank you for posting this it was super helpful.
Thank you for your video. I only need to "beep" my dog when he's off doing something he's not supposed to do in the off-leash dog park Eg. jumping the fence.
What's with the rubber silicone caps do we need to leave those on when we put them on the dog or remove them because I do feel a faint shock when I try it on my arm when the silicone caps are on
How can you recommend it? Does it work fine after a year of using it? Does it function fine? I have read several reviews about that it stopped working after several months of use
Thank you for your video, helps with setting it up, however your coller on your dog is not placed in the correct position, it should be higher just below the dogs ears and a tighter fit on neck, where you could only get your thumb in between the collar and neck. Thanks again.
What level do you typically use for shock? I have it at 20 and my dog doesn't flinch. I took the rubber covers off. I've got a 50 lb golden doodle. Thanks!
I just commented. But these collars are just awful. They were my second set of 2 dog system collars because they looked incredible, but you’re better off just getting the educator to ensure the collar stimulates at the right level and exactly when you press the button. Anything less will destroy your communication and association. I had to use 99 on my second Doberman at the park and she barely flinched. I use 15-35 with the educator and it works exactly when you press the button and it has a boost so you can use the low stim for minor corrections and boost for serious problems. These collars really frustrated me. The price is not worth the problems that will come with imprecise correction.
E-collars are not meant to punish or stop bad behavior. All you're doing is teach your dog that they only need to listen out of fear of the shock. Thus you remove the e-collar and they don't listen. Contact a trainer to learn how to use this tool properly. If you're in Lynchburg Virginia I'd be happy to teach you how to use it.
I'm not privilege to afford a training best thing is to try to train them your self. And relax I don't used this at all on my dogs they are well train with a chankla.
Hmm, interesting because we use voice in conjunction with the beep and we don't even need to put the collar on our dog anymore, because he now associates the sound we make as something undesirable and stops the action. We started by training him not to jump, then moved on to a new undesirable trait once we broke that habit.
HORRIBLE COLLAR! It looks and sounds perfect, BUT there’s a reason reputable brands cost $200-$300. That was the last of the cheap collars I ever bought. I bought a e collar educator and it SHOULD be a stimulation like a TENS machine. It should NOT be a “static shock” like static electricity, the GOOD collars use an electric stimulation that feels like your muscles are contracting very tightly. If you have 2 dogs and need to use it as a 2 dog system you’re in trouble bc you have to toggle through 4 different dogs to get back to dog 2 let’s say. If you’re on dog 2 and need to correct dog 1 you have to hit a small button on the side 3 times to cycle through and by that time it’s too late for a correction! Making the collars more harmful than not. I’ve had to go all the way up to 99 on my second Doberman where as I only have to use 12-35 on my educator and only 50 for a serious correction. Moreover you need to have a continuous stimulation option. Also, this collar has a DELAY when you use the stimulation. You canNOT have a delay when using these collars or you’ll mess up the dog for good. Please, if you cannot afford a legitimate collar wait to get a dog. Living in south Texas SO MANY ppl just get dogs to have in their yards or on chains and have no idea how to train them. If you don’t understand how dogs behave and if your dog doesn’t already know the command or that what you’re correcting him or her for is not to be done then you’re going to just make your problems worse. I good e collar is the MOST valuable tool in your life if you’re a dog owner, don’t skimp on this investment. And please, watch legitimate trainers on UA-cam to understand how to use them. Shield K9 is a GREAT start. But I just saw this and I was telling myself before that if I ever had the chance to review this collar. The final straw in my attempt to find a less expensive option and hopefully prevent anyone from purchasing this collar who wouldn’t notice the issues it poses bc they don’t have the experience with dogs to understand the dogs reaction to it. If you don’t know how to train your dog please make sure you learn and be committed to it, dogs are not lawn ornaments and they can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re getting into. The humane society here in southwest Texas is full of poor dogs who’s previous owners are the ones who should be in the cages.

Got this for my dog because it’s been a pain in the butt so far, so I got it just for training and showing right from wrong.

3:04 is the beep sound
What’s the setting of shock did you set that really got your puppies attention?
Thank you for your video
How can I lower the number 10 on the remote?
How many months was your puppy when you put it on him?

They are a safety feature not to get shock when not in use
Thank you, this was helpful 😄

You start with the audible, then the vibration and the last resort is shock
my zapped stopped working how do i make it work again?
It changes but won’t turn on

My collar is blinking red . What do I need to do to fix
Battery is failing?
great but how do you match the collar to the receiver
Lol just color it or replace it

Remove the rubber cover and use the longer metal rods and try the levels until you see some reactions

Is this recommended for wife training? Just asking for a friend.
@ 0:42 I thought you said "beat them" 🤣
(I spit out my water)
you said BEEP THEM.
I need to get my ears checked 😕
That’s not channel 10 that is the level of shock the remote has 4 channels to connect collars
I’d rather put the collar on the creators of a shock collar to see how they like it.
So you don’t like my training collar? Why would you want to shock me? If you don’t like my product- simply return it for a complete refund.
I love “I’m going slap you” 😂
He said zap……..

@@Upgradetechwait, you smack your dogs with your shoes?
