Thanks for the video going to give this a try
Great video. Haven't tried to spatchcock a chicken and smoke it, but this gives me the need to do it. Keep smoking!
Nice vid, I’m Definitely gonna try it that way... Thx👍🏽🍻
Great video! Great looking birds!!!
Great looking birds! Nice and juicy. Awesome job 👍🏻
Those birds looked delicious, Brother! Great audio too. It makes a huge difference. Cheers 🍻
Looks delicious! Cooking a whole chicken tomorrow, funny enough.
Nice looking Chooks mate.............l agree the humble chicken makes for a good feed anytime.........take care.
Great cook! I will be making a spatchcock chicken this week.
After the 20 min flip how long did they cook?
This came out Stupid Good!
Awesome and simple cook. Going to give this a try soon! How are you liking the Traeger Timberline?
Nice, I like your setup, Good tips. gonna try a little more heat next time I do mine and maybe flip em also. Semper Fi
Those birds look so good. Robin asked
when am I cooking one for her and it better be soon.
Great video! After you turned it, how long did you leave it on for?
Good looking birds...
That chicken looks good Devil Dawg!
You went straight from flipping at 20 mins to checking for doneness. How much more time does it usually take for them to be done?
Hey, What kind of oil do you use before the seasonings?
Damn, that chicken looks tasty as hell.
nice cook, I did notice you flipped the bird at 20 mins. did you flip every 20 mins or just one time at 20 mins.
WHEAT thanks! I just turned them once.
Semper Fi from an 0311 Vietnam
Those are some bada$$ poultry shears! Where can I get a pair? Great cook!
David Yarber I’ve had them for several years. I think it was at a Kitchen Collections store but I’m not 💯 on that.
Is that just plain Wesson oil you apply to it?
Olive Oil
Do you wash your chicken’s
Yes I do.
Dam Devil that looks great!! I just got my Treager and I’m making the chicken your way. I’ll let you know how it comes out. Kill!
Hey Jus' Piddlin BBQ, I've been a subscriber to your channel for a couple years now. I'm just curious as to why you haven't done any videos with your Watchman lately???
Hey Joe...I appreciate your support and comment. I love the Watchman, however an opportunity came up and I have made a commitment with Traeger to be an influencer for them. It is difficult trying to keep up with videos for several different brands of grills and I just felt like streamlining the whole process would be better. So far, I like it and it seems to have benefited my channel overall. I thank you for watching and hope that you continue to do so. Cheers.
Why did the text on the vid say you cooked it for 1 1/2 hours but you said 45 to 50 min? what's what?
Because if you listen, I say from start to finish (including prep and resting) was 1 1/2 hours.
@@JusPiddlinBBQ yeah if you read the text you put on the video.....that part that you screwed up with the audio and needed to add text it said total cocking time 1 and half hours. In the vid you said 45 / 50 min.....have a clue, Anyway I tried the method and it sucked. Stick to something you know,
