    Dear brothers and sisters,
Please pray for me. For about 15 years I have been struggling with debilitating sickness that's made my life unberable. I am in my mid 30s and would love to still have strength to serve my Savior and Lord.
By the stripes of Jesus I have been healed. Thank you all 🙏🏻
Please also pray that God grants me strength to go through this valley with humility and thankfulness.
Please also pray that the fire of Holy Spirit would be with me.
God bless you all, precious family ❤

As a student I encountered/been taught open theism in the bible college and as a pastor I encountered hyper grace in the church. Glad RT is raising the alarm to these two dangers...

Thank you as seasoned laymen of 75 years I have wavered on this issue over whether to demand healing as a positive affirmation taught by some saying its always the will of God to heal and the examples given such as Paul's thorn in the flesh. I believe speaking a word of affirmation is speaking to the thing needing healing under Gods authority not demanding God heal.

Thank you, thank you for speaking up! I will certainly continue to listen to your teachings. I consider myself a charismatic from the 70‘s but would never accept those teachings you mentioned. In the last year I am looking for solid bible teaching and go to a Baptist church fir a bible study now.

Glad I found you. I ran down the charismatic /pentecostal path -hard - for a couple of decades, then became disenchanted with that crowd. That said, there are a number of individuals out there who spend all their time denigrating others because they have not seen the miraculous. Signs and wonders are supposed to follow the preaching of the Gospel of REPENTANCE. If one wants to convince me, one needs to show me from the text of the Bible - with proper context.

And… sovereignty? Don’t even. I’ve been ostracized for this, as if I have no faith because I live with a chronic disease, yet have laid hands on the sick and the Holy Spirit instantly has healed many. His will be done, not ours.

So very necessary. I’ve been wringing my hands and weeping I er the lack of Bible literacy in the Charismatic church. I am charismatic, however it’s appalling this dominionism teaching, and that WE have to prepare and bring Jesus back.

I weep with you, the body of Christ does not know or understand the Bible the whole council of God, and the enemy is deceiving many today. Don't give up praying and intercession about this before our Lord He answers the cry of our tears.

I appreciate these videos (and the emphasis on the Holy Spirit) I read one of your books (Total Forgiveness) and my honest conclusion was it was basically teaching a version of hyper-grace. I appreciate your mention of Hypergrace as a dangerous error, but my impression was your teaching in "Total Forgiveness" was very similar, or at least could lead to anti-nomianism. I don't intend to be unkind, but that was my honest conclusion. I think you possibly make a partial mistake when saying charismatics/pentecostals dont have a sufficient belief in the sovereignty of God, do you mean they don't hold a reformed position on the sovereignty of God? Do you feel Wesley held a sufficient view of the sovereignty of God?

I am so grateful for you Sir...
I'm a highest form of Calvinist
....but I am so high a Calvinist that I'm Arminian simultaneously. This is "apriori & aposteriori" simultaneity. I am Whitfield and Wesley (which is really what John Piper is).
"Believe like a Calvinist and preach like an Arminian!"
I always read historic literature to determine what is transcendent... because those patterns are what's true.
And I'm also going to tell you that a means of reprobation is the diminishment into cessationism...
This is what happens by a form of spiritual incest.
I cannot recommend enough -"Baptism of the Holy Spirit" by RA Torrey...
...because it actually adds illumination by the refutation of MacArthur's total cessationism -which becomes a form of heresy! I LOVE John MacArthur for years... and it sounds insane to mention the word heretic with MacArthur, ... But the recursive nature of people who get cessationism pounded in their head... means that they will not be equipped because they have eliminated Baptism of the Holy Spirit... which is a continual recursion. And when people don't even ask or seek it, they have eliminated the renewal of Faith... which has devolved into simple ascent even if a highly intellectual assent.
This is the false hope ("effervescent faith").
I've become embarrassed to be a Calvinist (especially with the ubiquity of "untried Calvinists"... because of the desensitization in later recursive tiers of spiritual awareness.
Calvinists had better start listening to old footage of Derek Prince.... an Oxford scholar -until God flipped his switch in the taming -by releasing of his tongue!
The scholarly study of Scripture along with releasing of spiritual gifts especially involving types of tongues.. is truly
    "Logic On Fire"
    You are an invaluable resource!
    Soli Deo Gloria and Maranatha!

Hyper-grace? If you meet with Jesus who is grace, you are changed from the inside out without any religious baggage needing to be tacked on.
Agape God choose to give us all the gift of righteousness which in the case of your body is health. The root of sin, sickness and death is holding to an identity of unrighteousness / seperation from God who is health, wholeness, intimacy.
Calvinism, Arminianism, Molinism, Open Theism... are all based on seperation from God and contrary to Jesus prayer in John 17. All isms are pure religious nonsense. The carnal mind always sees itself as seperate from union and always at odds with Agape, Trinity, Family.

Brothers and sisters in Christ across denominational lines and traditions all believe in the sovereignty of God. Our salvation is not based upon our understanding of sovereignty. God is first in rank and supreme is the dictionary definition of sovereignty. We can all agree on that. I don’t believe that means that everything that happens is His will. The nuances of God’s sovereignty is a secondary issue in our salvation and we can agree to disagree.

First time I've heard the term hyper-grace, which is better known as cheap grace theology, which is based on the theology "once-saved-always-saved", or the idea that everything was accomplished at the cross. If there is not a strong emphasis on the law, cheap grace is where it leads.
Open theism is merely a recognition that God has given us free will, and is in attempt to understand how God works when we have a say in our salvation. so it doesn't fit well with the Calvinism of Presbyterian churches. If God was completely and absolutely sovereign, in the sense that you portray, then no one would be lost, and you would have to believe in purgatory to believe in that notion. It would also mean no one has free will.
A lot of bias in favor of Calvinism here.

R.T. is a moderate Calvinist as I am also and leans very much towards the classic Free Grace position that I resolutely hold to. It is not the exact same as Hyper-Grace though both affirm salvation by faith alone in Christ alone and the eternal security of the Christian believer. Hyper-Grace overlooks chastisement for disobedience in the life of a wayward child of God, negates the need for ongoing confession of sin to remain in fellowship with the Son and I don't believe it recognises either different rewards at the Bema seat judgement for service rendered unto Jesus. In summary, Hyper-Grace is a lot lighter on sin and separation from and more antinomian. Despite the imbalances, it' is in essence preferable to neonomianism and close bedfellow Lordship Salvation, especially the frontloaded version which is nothing but 'another gospel'.

I think the sovereign will of God is a subjective term. And as Charismatic Pentecostal its an issue of context. Why are we taught to pray Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" Than your saying everything done on earth is God's will yet we are taught Satan is the prince of this world and in rebellion to God and His will. Consequently we can quote 1 Timothy 2:4 and yet God recognizes our free will. Malachi 2: 17 etc.

Ok genuine observation here. As you rightly point out, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, but the ‘gifts’ practised in the Charismatic churches today are NOTHING like the same at all. Tongues in the bible were always real foreign languages, not glossolalia, healings were instant and extraordinary, words of knowledge were words of knowledge about the gospel and doctrines of Christ ,prophecy had to be accurate and true, I could go on…! What’s happening today in the church is nothing more than the power of suggestion, encouraged by ‘teachers’ who have misinterpreted scripture, based on pure emotional and ecstatic experiences, It’s just emotional hype, encouraged by the deceived, and passing it on like a game of Chinese whispers gone wrong! I’m talking from experience here. 40 years in this false teaching and then God opened my eyes to the lies. Read 1 Corinthians 12, 13 and 14 using correct Bible hermeneutics (not experience) and God will open your eyes. And stop manipulating people by taking verses like ‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and forever’ to back up your false doctrine. This verse has nothing to do with spiritual gifts/ cessation/continuation debate and you know it! Wake up people.

The gifts as you described them can and do occur today. The Lord confirms the preaching of the Word in the power of the Holy Spirit with signs following as He wills. The problem is charismatics reversing the order and putting the signs first and the unbelief of the cessationists who leave no room for signs and limit God. Wild or strange fire on the one side and no fire or dead orthodoxy on the other. I want the real fire of Pentecost.

R T Kendall most of your teachings are dangerous, if you had the Agape love of God in you for one minute, you would never believe what teach.
God isn't sovereign as calvinists teach.
The gifts of the Spirit and the power of God, are still in the Church today, its not like you to know and believe the Bible.
