Your review is spot on!! When I was searching for an alternative to my beloved Polo Green, I picked this up. It is a fresher take on Polo, and is amazing in its own right.
One of the best scents I've discovered this year. Opens up really dry and kinda meh at first but after a few minutes it completely changes into a very fresh divine green scent! Mindblowing stuff! MUST get a full bottle. Thanks for letting me know about it Kelan. Also it's my SOTD in honor of the review haha
Late to the party on your channel, I’ve been loving your reviews. I just blind bought a (somewhat) vintage of this based on your review. Never smelled it but I do have the original Loewe Pour Homme. It’s a really good one, I think you’d dig it. Keep up the great reviews!
I’ve been using this since the 90s. I still have around 25ml of the last one I bought in the early 2000s. The vintage juice has mythical status, with an amazingly full and rich scent, beastly projection and lasting power, around 20 hours on my skin (no joke). And, like you say, the dry down is to die for. 10/10.
I might eventually try and track down a vintage I would just worry the juice is not 100% which happens to me all the time lol like the aftershave of this I got. The current formula is awesome anyway. The scent itself is excellent! Thank you for watching and commenting dude
The only reason I haven't picked this one up yet is because there are about 3 or 4 different formulations box/bottle designs out there that it's difficult to tell which is the good stuff. But it's good to know that the gold rectangle box is one of them. Appreciate the review!
Yea I believe it’s had a few reforms but don’t pay attention to that if you decide to get it, the most current one which is what I have (edt wise, the aftershave was vintage) is excellent and absolutely worth it ! Thank you for watching and commenting as always bro!
The box green and gold came out in 2015-2016, I have an older version with White box, excellent opening notes but I feel it does not last too much, 4 or 5 sprays on skin, 2 or three on clothes last for about 5 hours, and proyection I feel it decreases from the 2nd. hour (acordingly to my nose), I live in Acapulco, hot and humid weather almost all time, I have not tried it on air conditioned all day, may be last more in a fresher wheather. Is a great fragance...unique, I will try to get a btch code from 2016, I havea Loewe pour homme of that batch code....it´s a beast...easy 8 hours proyecting strong at least 2 hours, I mean you full the room with the scent, the other part of the time in a bubble of 2m...veeeery acceptable and even a lot much better than most of today´s fragances, sadly included Chanel.

This right here is a gem. My mom knows I like older “mature” scents so she gifted me this for my birthday a few years ago .. it’s just a gem..I think I’ll land me another bottle for Christmas!

Hello Kelan. I've been interested in trying this Loewe fragrance for a while now, and I hope to try it eventually. Some of my favorite fragrances these days are: Lalique Pour Homme EDP, Dolce and Gabbana Intenso, Calvin Klein Eternity EDP, Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold EDP, Jaguar For Men, Armaf C.D.N.I.M., Lalique Encre Noire, and more. Kelan, have you tried Calvin Klein Euphoria Amber Gold EDP? In regards to fragrances which I don't like: in recent times, I purchased a bottle of Boucheron Jaipur EDP and that was, very much, a horrible mistake.

EDP has been discontinued but it is still available at about $48 (However it might become scarce and already it has gone up in price somewhat). It is an enjoyable fragrance having a sweet/incense smell which has good overall performance, even on skin. I bought two bottles of it. From the atomizer, it smells like Bentley for Men Intense, but I feel that it's a much better fragrance than that Bentley fragrance. I first heard about it on the Greggieboy76 channel.
Loewe is one of the coolest luxury brands around. Just today I have sold a few of their cataloge.( I work for a perfumerie in Spain). That bottle is the old one, they have changed their entire cataloge, and now all of them have the same shape-
Just a heads up everyone! I was informed that Ted Lapidus, Roger & Gallet, Pino Silverstre and many more perfumes will be reformulated as there is now much stricter regulations in regards to the use of Lyral. It’s effectively being banned completely from fragrances. It’s been happening since 2019 but fragrance houses are now being pressured to remove and reformulate by end of 2021. So stock up on those favourite scents that haven’t been reformulated yet! Jacomo, Jacques Bogart... etc etc
This one has become one of my favorites, green AF and fresh until the end , this is a no bs fragrance, women love it, this is some manly $hit , the sport version is even fresher.
Completely agree this one is so good and all your descriptions are dead on, I was curious about the sport flanker, how is it? Is it still green or a totally different scent ?
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey yeah, the sport version has more of a barbershop feel, more lemony and has menthol cooling feel,I used it a lot this past winter on shaving days and it has that proraso vibe, Loewe is a very classy house their store in downtown Manhattan sells some pretty expensive and classy $hit, don't expect kiddie stuff from them.
So, tobacco-free Polo. :) Very engaging fragrance, Esencia Loewe is. Anyone else get a nut-like note, maybe beyond nutmeg, moving toward hazelnut, almost?

Exactly! When it dries down the moss is so strong but the lack of the tobacco note gives it the fresher alternative I really like it !

This is just the most wonderful perfume for men that it was ever created, no one beats it, Esencia de Loewe the round bottle, is a master piece.

Make sure you get the EDT. The EDP is pretty much another Aventus clone.
