Last year we flew into AL, drove to Ft Benning GA to see our Basic Training Son, drove to Pensacola Beach for two nights, and then drove the Gulf Coast to New Orleans. What a great time. Had to do it by commercial flight and a rental car but it was so beautiful. Thanks for the video you two!

12:58 -- there are two small airports (Bessemer : EKY and Alabaster : EET) in the BHam metro that should be very cost effective.

Can't spend much time in Auburn Al without falling in love with that town. The town itself can only be out done by the people who live there. Both of my kids are better people today due to going to school at AU. Stay safe and thanks for sharing. I hope you had time to walk around downtown Auburn, if so you will understand what I'm talking about.

Great video as always Kevin. Nice to have the team back together 🙂 Loved Jaime's reference to the vis as being able to see Russia and very impressed that she did readbacks without writing anything down! I must be getting old as I sometimes struggle with QNH and transponder code! Looking forward to the next one 👍 🇬🇧

Irish Kevin!🤘You guys must've had a chuckle over that one! I'm gonna have to try and find some of that. 😁🍻 Oh ... thought it was a drink! didn't know it was a bar in FL, lol!!
Sounds like a great trip! Sure wish I was near there right now. Hit 16°F here yesterday morning, and never got out of the 30's today or yesterday. 😣
Great that Jamie has her own display to set up the way she wants. Got so much information there. Safety level moved up several notches, and the workload moved down, I bet. Nice to have eyes on everything from weather to air traffic, right in front of you. Great job those guys did on that panel! 😎 Hope you guys enjoyed the trip - I'll be watching for Part 2 to appear in my inbox. 😉

Yeah, we saw the name and had to swing by there. Maggie bought me a hat from there. :)
I was out hunting the other morning and it said 9 degrees....took hours for me to warm back up after that!

@@310Pilot - You're welcome, Kevin! Love the vids!
Yikes! Yeah single digits, no bueno, lol! It was in the 40's here today, and I've got 2 layers of UnderArmour on! 😂
In back of the house the other day I spotted a red fox - he was watching me, I was watching him. I made some noise to get him to move so I could see him better, and I ended up spooking a good sized doe over to the right that I didn't even see! That was pretty cool. Good luck on the hunt - hope you pack the freezer full. 👍🍻

Glad you're enjoying the channel! Sounds like an awesome trip you have planned. I'm for sure going to do the same in the 310 one of these days. When she said early in the video that she may say "JJ" at the end of the transmission...that is because we just got off work and she had been working that sector that releases off of ARR. When you do it for work, especially at the same sector, it really makes it second nature. She's an awesome co-pilot to have. :)
