  • I have a 1995 electric ezgo cart and one day it stopped working. The solenoid would click and the controller was getting power, turn out the wire was the issue.

One other issue you might find is that there are 4 Forward & Reverse Copper Contact Studs that can shear off or wear down.

What happened to my gulf cart was a loose wire from the battery .

I’ve replaced all batteries and the solenoid tested the motor but it’s still clicking could this be the issue?

Its supposed to click. That clicking is the solenoid being activated. If it doesnt click then you should worry.

Regardless, if it helps me thank you for the video. It might help me and I have a 42 V western easy go TXT and there’s so hard to diagnose to me for some reason because it runs on 36 or 48 solenoid I don’t know I just need help from somebody please Beautiful cart. The batteries are amazing too. Lights work charger works, and it’s gotten on board charger up in the grill in the front behind the plastic. I don’t know if I like that but it’s also got nice rims so I don’t wanna kick it to the curb by selling it so if somebody’s got any ideas, that would be great, all seven batteries have well over 6.5 V and when I lifted the seat cover it was warm not hot but it means the chargers doing its job but anyways blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Can somebody please help me with a 42 V western 2004 I would appreciate it , I’m out there with a volt tester
