@@manjusha4u ok....I added 3/4 cup powdered sugar...I didn't observe that part, as u said, she has not mentioned..... usually I add 3/4 cup sugar for 1 and quarter cup maida. Any way sugar syrup is also added towards the end..

No dear..it's 1tsp baking soda and 1/4 th tsp baking powder...it's always good to use baking soda in chocolate cakes than baking powder..it gives more texture and color to chocolate cakes🥰
