Beautiful kit! Love the sounds and the specialty cymbals. Electronic kits have come a long way in their development since I got my first e-kit (Yamaha DXTreme ii )
I just don't like tom sounds on an electric drum. It always has this muffled, weird sound that sounds "unnatural" to me. I'm sorry but that's not worth 8k.
So, slightly worse than a real drum kit but also just as big and much more expensive? I don't think people play e-drum kits because they like the sound. They play them because they have to spend 50% of their income on a closet that this won't fit in.
People buy them because of volume issues mostly. I play in a function band and 90% of the venues I play have a limiter so an electric(acoustic looking) kit is the best option. This kit is way to expensive though. You could literally buy 2 Roland VAD kits and save yourself like £2k
I’m sure some older drummers do but this isn’t the shitty Simmons pads of the 80s. Electric kits have come a long way. Acoustic kits are great but not practical for a lot of people.

MORE THAN A FEELING
Sounds great. I like the smooth tones. Much better than my SD-1 kit from the 1980s.
He looks like Deadpool😮
This sounds like acoustic drums recorded and premixed despite what the haters are saying. This is what drums sound like in modern recordings.
Except the shitty snare sound.
$8K?
Yeah 8k, I just looked this up. This is not an 8k kit!
Sounds no better than most ekits on the market costing a fraction of this thing.
You're obviously not just buying this for sound only.

Amazing how cardboard sounds today...🤔

@@riff_raff_n1821 huh I didn’t realize that was at all a draw of drums. I always assumed ‘real’ drummers looked down their nose at ekits
