I am crying watching this. when I first started crossfit in Jan 2023 - I heard about the open and the crossfit games and started watching UA-cam videos about it. one of the first videos I watched was CF mayhems hour long video on one of the CF games when Lazar was in teams and so Lazar was literally the first "pro" crossfitter that I knew. He truly was such a beautiful person. this is so sad.

Ah man. What a person. I always found his laugh infectious that made me chuckle as well. As if he was telling the joke directly to us. Lazar will be missed and never forgotten. Thanks Mayhem for doing the tribute because he was true part of the family.
A genuine person with a beautiful soul left us too early. The fact that his loss has had a big impact to people who haven’t even met says a lot about him. I hope lesson are learned and necessary changes are made to prevent this from happening again. Lazar is the BEST!
After Lazar said it and the video ended I said under my breath ''Lazar is the best''... I see were all on the same page. As a spectator I didn't know anything about him he was just another athlete. But the one thing the games and tributes like these did was show everyone what an infectiously kind and happy soul he was. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t personally know this man but I am so angry he’s gone. Every clip someone shares of him the more we learn about who he was and the bigger a loss he becomes. His smile and laugh are infectious. He looks like he enjoyed life. I am so so sorry to his family, girlfriend, friends, and the CrossFit community us fans who lost a great inspiring athlete 💔 I’m angry at CrossFit for putting the difficulty of a test over the preservation of precious life.
