James getting mad at a game is one of life's great joys. Especially how happy he gets when he beats a hard mission or boss. Just imagine the joy of a series of James playing any Souls game with Maso sitting there ordering sunglasses and pissing him off as he fights some boss over and over again XD One can dream.
@@jack0lantern93 I would immediately sign up if they only uploaded it there and I’m okay with that because it must be torture for James to struggle endlessly while maso taunts him and occasionally tries playing for about five minutes then gives up
it took me a long fucking time to beat dooku when i rented this back in the day because by that point i still didn't fully understand the combat system
@@DanielMartinez-hm8pu Killer Instinct is still one of the best games they ever made, one of the best fighting games and best gaming reboot in general. It sucks that they where bought out by amazon almost immediately after.
Absolutely loved this game growing up. The Grievous fight was the most memorable for me cus of how much time I spent being stuck on it lmao The arena mode where you could fight light and dark side versions of every single character was incredibly fun. The levels and character variation among the clones and droids were amazing to me. This was the only Star Wars game that actually pulled me away from Battlefront 2 for a period of time. Maximum nostalgia 🥲
The improv between Maso's Obi Wan and James' Anakin had me bursting out laughing in my uni library! I would totally watch a full gameplay video like that XD
@@Jake-wi1rw He forgot to say "Westworld" during the What Are We Reading theme. We heard it on Big Sandwich but they edited it back in for most other platforms
Obi-wan taunting Anakin by saying "Poos and bums and wees!" completely seriously is one of the funniest images that's entered my head this month. Thank you Maso.
For the lightsaber combat, I really don’t think it’s so complicated. For Honor essentially has the system, they could just remove the hits that aren’t sword to sword. it’s basically that, and another version would be as early as Assassin’s Creed I, all you have to do is make the animations of the enemies block each lightsaber, and still have their health go down. Only have the lightsaber actually hit the body on the death blow.
I remember wigs being brought up in the first Darth bane book and the thought of wigs in the Star Wars universe was so jarring to me I did a weird laugh on the bus
Next time you do Caravan of Garbage for the Fast Sage, do the movie Torque (2004)! It's batshit insane, makes fun of FnF, and has more hawktrivia than you'll be able to get through. Do it James! Do it!

It was actually released the day before the movie, i took the day off school, finished the game and spoiled the entire movie for myself in video game cutscenes.
My cousins pirated the movie from some other country that got it released first and sort of spoiled it for me. They said obi-wan pushes Anakin into a volcano.
My greatest acheivement of my childhood was beating this game without dying (except for the alternate end fight because that shit sucks/ kicked my arse!)
You know what grinds my gears? The theme of the final battle in this movie is called "battle of heroes," however anakin is not a hero, and I often confuse this track with the very similar "duel of the fates" in phantom menace, where there are in fact 3 combatants so it isn't a duel, and both names make more sense if you were to swap them.
The blue harvest thing is also why that family guy starwars episode is called “Blue Harvest”. Those are some of the funniest Family Guy episodes imo and some of the funniest Star Wars parodies in general i think
This is a worthy sequel to the quest for Luke’s lightsaber, another defining sequence of James’ slowly loosening grip upon his own sanity followed by an incredible moment of triumph.
I absolutely adored this game. Me and my little brother would spend entire afternoons doing the 1v1 mode, which is horribly imbalanced and bad but we loved it.
I loved this game when I was a kid. My favorite level was general grievous. I really liked cutting up battle droids I thought it was really cool because they would fall apart in just one hit
Loved this game when I was younger and a good adaptation of the film in an entertaining way. One correction on Little Britain; David Walliams was the one who did the “Computer says no” gag, not Matt Lucas.
The art book for attack of the clones has concept art with Anakin having a flatter haircut that was designed to imitate the shape of Vader’s helmet. Can you imagine if they stuck with it? Still better than the rat tail
This was my favorite game growing up, even though my copy would always freeze when you had to fight the crab droid on Utapau, so I only got to play like half of the game
