Thanks for checking this out. One of the things they do is to throw in tiny hints of completely different genres and make them fit. This one had moments reminiscent of Broadway show tunes and Gospel. They feel like little easter eggs for those of us who are fans of other kinds of music. It certainly adds to the fun.
As Asami stated at The Underworld, London, on 27th November 2017, this song is very important and special for her and the band. She recorded a demo and sent it to audition. When other members of the band (Miho, Haruna and Midori at that time) got liked her voice and invited her, she decided to join. When the members of lovebites were auditioning vocalists, they knew exactly what they wanted, from the get-go they all felt Asami was the perfect match to what they had in mind for creating "Lovebites Metal" "The Lone Wolf Metal" "We are the Resurrection Metal" and they have consistently been throwing out some of the most amazing songs in the planet. Always having in mind the classics of the past and infused with the classical elements to all of their songs. This alone is what separates them from so many bands. This is one of those songs that gets overlooked by everyone else, it is a rare thing to see anyone react to it but we know why you did it it's the same love that we have for these ladies, your taste is our taste. Haruna is a much better drummer and person than Clem. My band opened a show for one of his side projects (The International Swingers) his band was great to hangout with, He was a total jerk and a total diva.

Araken was also the guitarist for both of Asami's Christmas shows in December, along with several others we have heard before ... Mao on Piano & Hidehiro on drums (Haruna's drum-tech) ... Seems they are quite a 'family' and I love it! 🐺
This song is up and down and all over and overly cool! It does seem to me that Asami is at her best when the vocal melody is like a roller coaster, more so than some of the thrashier tunes where the delivery is more linear without as much range exploration. Perhaps this is just my preference.
