AC, electrical and insolation | Building a 740 sqft 2 Bed 1 Bath ADU - La Mesa, CA [EP. 3]

  • We recently started construction on a 740 sqft ADU in the city of La Mesa, California and we want to share the process with all of you with the idea that this may help someone.
    In this episode, the framing was finished, AC and electrical panel installed and we started with insolation.

    Quick question are some of your exterior walls 2x4’s and some 2x6’s or are my eyes messing with me haha?

      All exterior walls are 2x4 with the exception of the bathroom wall that it's a 2x6 plumbing wall, so kinda correct, haha.

      @@egconstructionsd Is that because of the pipe size running through those walls would require boring/notching to much out of the 2x4’s?

    How much would something like this cost , to building? Now

      Between 250k - 300k. This one was 287k with plans included

      I have something similar, approved. But cost of materials is so high. I can't make it. Thanks
