I don’t know what Caucasian households are like but what I do know is what my household was like and the households of my friends was like. I’m black and my parents used to say that not beating your child was “acting white” they equated letting their child speak to defend themselves from their behavior as “acting white” they said trying to understand your child was “acting white”. So when I hear him say that the people disagreeing with him were white it kinda bothered me. Ignoring the obviously racial aspect of it, it’s triggering. A lot of black people my age dealt with that type of treatment and trauma and for him to say that means that he’s delusional. Idk the type of relationship he has with his kids but if he’s beating them like he says he does then that’s kinda crazy.
it's so messed up and i'm so sorry you had to experience that. i'm white and beating your kids is normalized in a lot of white circles, especially southern white circles. it's been normalized on my mom's side of the family and it happened to me during the time my dad and (also white) stepmom were married. i'm sure you know this, but i promise you that the notion of gentle parenting being a white thing is not true.

It's not as bad nowadays as I come from Poland which basically reached the GDP levels of said west and with it the additude towards parenting changed too, but I'm old enough to remember all of my Polish friends having memories of being beaten with a belt or worse and it being normal, and then me moving to western Europe and people being HORRIFIED by my stories even though my parents or rather my father, in comparison to what my friends went through, took it waaaay easy on me.

I've been following him ever since his meme blew up, and it's been concerning to watch his life progress. Of course, he threatens people all the time, but it seems like he is losing his mind the more time goes on. He will do deranged things like switch personalities and take time out of his day to block all of his followers by hand. Sometimes he will respond to positive comments with entire videos questioning their intentions and whether they are honest or trolling like he's schizophrenic. Most recently, he could not pay his bills, so he asked the small community he has left for donations. This was after he admitted to voluntarily quitting his job. He then went out and gambled with the money being donated to him. It's sad to see, but I can't feel as bad for him when he actively turns people away, makes racist remarks, and continues to make poor life choices.

With so much negativity, it's great to see some positivity.
But honestly --- I couldn't ask people for all that. 10k was BEYOND generous. However, to continue to ask for $...... especially when he was able to find at least a part time job.
(I've been told I'm "unhireable" with minimal help from my loved ones. So to see someone like him practically begging for over a yr with nothing to show for it -- it's a bit upsetting)
It started out as a video making it seems like he was just a nice dude, being trolled for no reason to the point he snapped and broke.
