Fan fiction truely makes the world go around! 😂 I was just rewatching this video, and really sometimes you need to watch something twice to fully appreciate it and to see all the intricacies and small motions of the video. Always such Wonderful editing to watch. Your editing videography is so amazing tbh. Sometimes I randomly think about what a huge impact you had on the vidding community IMO. I think the first video of yours I found was the Anna karenina video (I was late to the game of discovering) and it totally changed my view of editing and I realised how beautiful and like an art form it can be. And I remember I had never seen that editing style before. Maybe someone had done something like it before, who knows, because what art is ever completely original (that’s impossible) but IMO you pioneered your whole own original style and art form. From colouring/scene selection/movement etc. And man, I just wish your videos can be appreciated more in the world. I feel like people are missing out on good art. And I also feel like it really made a huge impact on my life for many many years when life was shit and gave me something to look up to and try aspire to. Like I know my editing talent is not great, and I don’t say that to be self deprecating or have someone say the opposite, it’s just the truth, lol, but it’s given so much enjoyment and I’m happy that seeing your videos inspired me to try make my own sort of art with whatever I can do. And ok I’m not saying all this to be a suck up, or receive comments back (as sometimes it feels like that to me when I’m reading relationships between vidders in the community on their comment pages. Maybe I’m just interpreting it wrong. But I don’t expect people to comment on videos out of some sense of obligation once a connection has been made.) it’s just that time is going by fast now and everyone is getting old, lmao, and I wouldn’t want to never say it! Haha. Now I’ll stop being embarrassing to everyone. Lol.
Well I must be really in some sort of mood to have written all that and then push post. But what’s done is done! Haha. It was the truth but still always embarrassing to gush to someone as a fan of their work. 😳 😅
@@rabbitmaze i appreciate your thoughts. a lot. it's interesting to read and i really get the mood, lol. well, it's interesting for me, because when you or other call my style unique, i call it "things that I misunderstand about vidding", lol. it is not completely joke, btw. it's how i feel when i watch other people's vids, but never yours. i don't know what it means, but what i know for sure your talent is great. I'm not trying to convince or to patronize you. and i really think such self-deprecating thoughts are useful for creativity (say from experience, you know, because i don't like my vids that much, i always think that i could have made it better or my editing is lazy editing. on some level i know it's not true, because my devotion to vidding sometimes scares me). well, i know I've been here with my vids for more than 10 years (and that scares me too when i think about it). most of vidders who was here when i started gone with their lives, but i'm still stay and do something. now i know why and this realisation came to me only in january of this year (yeah. i'm slow sometimes) when i made witcher vid (it's still in process, maybe forever, lol). vidding for me is kind of like folding puzzle pieces. it's really relaxing hobby. yeah, it's not that big revelation, but i always thought that i made vid only to share my feelings about something and to inspire people to watch or to create. but that's not completely true, i benefit a great deal from process of making vids, not from sharing them. I had to understand this earlier, because the lack of feedback never made me sad, lol. i say it so that we can be embarrassing together.
