@GlazeBoiX Because most student complaints about their teachers are that they go too fast. I now have software that allows me to have a "virtual" compass, so I maybe able to use that instead. As to neatness, well when you use this to build houses as I have, accuracy and neatness is important.
@lautnerandpatt No, the steps are the same. As a matter of fact the second step in erecting a perpendicular (a 90 degree line) is the same because you are bisecting a 180 degree angle to make two 90 degree angles.
@minkusbc OK thanks. And I used a protractor, but I see what I did wrong. I accidentally measured 142 degrees on the wrong side(the 142 on the left side). And thanks for all your help! =D
Thanks so much! I agree math teachers DO go to fast. This really helped me but I am still a bit confused because I was trying to make a 142 degree angle but it came out 152 degrees. Any advice on what I did wrong?
Very clear explanation.thanks for the video.
Crazy this video came out before I was born now I’m using it for my GCSE’s
You are too helpful thanku so much
Thanks you SO much! That helped me TONS!
Ah ha! We did this in my math class, I'll definetly forward her the link to this video.
You really helped me here with this! Thanks for the vid :)
@45darkrai Good observation, since a straight line is 180 degrees, if you bisect it you get two 90 degree angles, hence, a perpendicular!
thanks so much!!!!! very helpful n great job:D!!
u are the best!!!! :D thanks!!!!
this video helped alot thanks :)

@lautnerandpatt Was this a 142 degree angle with a compass and straightedge, or with a protractor?
thnx you really helped me!!
Nice.
thank you! this has helped me alot!!! :D
thank you

Oh and another question: if you have to construct an obtuse angle bisector, would the steps be any different?
ur awesome
Why has he stopped posting videos? They helped me a lot
very nice
Ok 👌
@lautnerandpatt NO, same steps.
Nice... SAS spellz half my name :)
someone is married!!!!! nice ring lol
My question is,
How is constructing a perpendicular bisector similar to constructing an angle bisector? How is it different?
+minkusbc thank you
