This year is just such high quality that I can see juries and televote all over the place. So let's see - I'll see him live in Madrid and Amsterdam pre-parties, and after those I'll be able to do some predicting of how this year can shape out. At the moment there are 10-15 songs that could be fighting for that top 3.
How can people comment on the music when they keep talking through it all the time! Listen and then comment! Don’t interrupt the music. This song takes you away and you pull yourself out of that illusion when you talk through it! I see this the whole time on video reactions and I HATE when they talk through it! The build up, the background is amazing but you miss the essence. My number 1

I was unimpressed with this song on first listen, as I too was distracted by the video imagery. But the song has grown so much on me after many repeats that I am obsessed. It is currently sitting at my #2, and I cannot listen to it now without literally dropping what I am doing to belt out the final "Before the Party is Over" section with Mustii. ALL the feels! I love it. Cannot wait to see him perform it live. I think it will be phenomenal.
Great song. Sounds beautifully mixed and mastered, his voice works just as well during the quieter and the more impactful sections, with a lasting and memorable character. Never a dull moment during the whole piece. Certainly a top 5.

This song has nothing to do with cleaning up or with party's! OMG.....It's a song about life. The song is beautifully built up to a fantastic climax. He has a very good voice and the vocals are great. If he can bring this life well then he is a possible winner!

I needed to have a little more time to marinate on this song. But then it passed the shower test and car test, which are vital tests eurovision songs need to pass, that final minute is such a great pay off. The concern is, it's Belgium, they have a spotty track record with staging, especially because this is a french half of belgium song and Blanche, Eliot and Jérémie had pretty poor live packages (look with Jérémie the sun was most of the problems). The hope is that Mustii is a bit more of an experienced peformer, unlike the 3 I mentioned, and he also, I think, is going to have a say in the visual in Malmo, which is what Loic had in Vienna. So fingers cross he can deliever a solid live performance in May. This is my number 3 at the moment I love it. Y'all have heard (well released) two of my top 3 and oh boy i'm interested to see the last one!
For me this is top quality ! I realy love the song and Mustti is a real artist. Live, on stage it will be AMAZING ! He's first in my top 10, Go for the WIN ! I think you completly missed your analysis, talking more about the clip, the outfits ... and you completly missed the meaning of the song.

i also have the same feeling about the disconnect Carlena is talking about... he seems to act more emotionally than he's singing it. I hope the balance will be better in the live performance. I still enjoy the song more in my car without the video than when I watch the video. but behind the wheel: one of the best of the year.

I like Belgium this year - we will see how it does in Eurovision - If I may suggest something - when you do the reaction video for France - you could look up the live version were the singer Slimane was a guest at the Croatian National Final (Dora) - it had small changes then the original version from November and is (in my opinion) better 😁

I usually adore Belgium, but was super distracted by the strong Rocky Horror vibes, and didn't really find the song itself memorable. I could see this could be a grower for me if it's performed well live, so fingers crossed that they can pull it off.
Not to be annoying about Albania again but it would be super interesting for me to hear you react to both versions of the song as it's now pretty much a completely new one and I think a lot of peoples have their "opinions" about the language change etc 😅 but also musically. Would be fun to hear which one you prefer...
