This is normal gacha behaviour buddy genshin actually has it very good compared to others I used to play a game where stronger character got released every update
Genshin isn't even half as bad in that regard as some other gachas, due to how the power creep works. Also due to artefact balance and champ synergy, old champs sometimes come back into meta even. But yeah, it's power creep in terms of clear speed - it doesn't actually make the old ones useless. At least in most cases. Heck there is that one guy who only uses guaranteed 4* to clear abyss and max star it and he manages. That alone is pretty damn impressive
I love all the characters, but Idk why but feel a bit bad for the older 5-star characters. Nowadays, even the 4-star characters are really strong, let alone the new 5-stars😔
I had feeling either sumeru banner will be in either 5.5 or 5.6. since if mihoyo makes the chronicle banner in every patch. Then it will make sense if mondstat chronicle wish will be there again and also sumeru chronicle banner. Sumeru will be very good for me. Scaramouche there, alhaitam, cyno. My dream kind of banner with their weapon that also crack. Saving for that

Opposite for me, the new characters make it so easy to play thr old characters
