No. Theyre an aviation regiment. Meaning pilots and rest of the regiment is support personnel. Only if something goes wrong do they have to fight on the ground. Like a downed helo. Theyre well trained for that too, but of course whoever theyre carrying like SEAL's, Green Berets, Rangers or Delta are generally better.
