Hi welsh wizard, I'm a relatively new subscriber i haven't really been subbed to you very long but In the short time i have i've been loving your vids. I love your similes such as eeeerm let me think of a good example "This spell guzzles down magicka faster than a kahjiit at a skooma party" for example, i think those are so funny.
my favorite enchantable enchant has to be the fiery souls from the tomb near the gourmet's inn, you can tone it all the way down and still deal 10 fire damage while having enough charge for 10 more dungeons, all the while filling soul gems for more enchantments. i only like banish because it turns iron daggers into piles of gold, though i can see some use for a low level adventurer who can't banish everything through sheer strength yet. also you need a lot of enchanting to make bound weapons decent in this game. actually, a tier list on how to get rich in skyrim sounds like an interesting watch, some mods cansel out the most famous ones.
I think you should rank the shouts and items from "Thunderchild" and "Zim' Artifacts" But for my favorite enchantments? I usually make a Stalhrim mace infused with Chaos dmg and Ice since it appose to be back up for Molag Bal' mace
The Blade of Woe is another source of Asorb Health enchantment that you can disenchant to learn. Also, a lot of these can be found on weapons in hidden chests near Markarth, Solitude, and Dawnstar. The first two are near where the Khajiit caravan set up shop, while the third one is near a mine.
Only upside for Banish is it's high sell price. Enchanting those dwarven bows you've been making with banish is a great way to pay off your addiction to the Skyrim real-estate market. Great video! Loving the welsh you're adding!
one of my first stops in any playthrough i run is always ironbind barrow, i just love fst and become ethereal is also a major perk early on, cant tell you how many times its saved my life falling off a slightly-too-high ledge
For thematic reasons, I love pairing fiery soul trap with absorb health. Cook the soul, eat it, and gain the benefits of a healthy and balanced meal? Perfection! Alternatively, paralyze + fiery soul trap, to anesthetize and immobilize the subject for a clean extraction of their soul.
When you do the Armor Enchantments, don't forget to shout out the top two most expensive enchantments for each armor piece. Level your Smithing and Enchanting Skills, and make money doing it. 😸
All mighty Welsh Wizard, i request a new video covering the Anniversary weapons, specifically the Creation club additions. I believe the Staff of Hasedoki is the strongest due to it’s ability to ragdoll nearly every type of enemy into a corner and giving you a window to wail on them. But i would like to know where everything stands and maybe how to get them.
Congrats on 100K!! Always enjoy these videos not just for the fun editing (or those nordish good looks~) but I usually end up learning something new about certain game mechanics or tricks which always keeps me coming back for more. Very good my good Wizard~!
You know how people always say "Skyrim is for the Stealth Archers?" I always been a Summoning Spellsword. Lighting Golem + Chain Lighting and a trusty sword go brr.
Its funny i always go spell sword as well rarely go stealth archer, best of both worlds close range and mid to long range with your spells. Anniversary unbound storms spell is also extremely powerful with the worm helm, necromage vampire and destruction perks with maxed alchemy destruction potions. You can literally disintegrate enemies into a pile of ash in a 360 radius even in other rooms.
I'd say absorb stamina is at least D Tier due to the fact that soups give you non-stop 1+ stamina and, as you highlighted at 13:29 as long as u got 1 your good. Save that stamina for the kitchen and get those juicy damage enchantments instead :) Edit: I commented before I got to 14:17 my bad lol I'm glad you highlight the alternatives Love the content
i learned something new everytime i watch your videos!, i already know all of the enchantment but i didnt know that putting the paralyze and soul trap enchantment at only 1 second can increase the charge! thanks!
Last I checked, The Unofficial Patch mod makes it so it can't be disenchanted, because their team doesn't like fun. It is the one mod everyone should install, where you need a suite of secondary mods just to undo the needless changes they made that nobody likes. -_(\
@@Starcat5 it useful but also imo shows why devs cant be trusted cuz some people like the "fun" bugs. Usually i just get other mods to exploit like that leviate spell. 😂
@ oh, really? That sucks :/ I’ve been saying this all along, (and probably hard to implement), but it would be awesome if the Unofficial Patch appeared in the MCM. There, you could enable/disable changes they made to the game as you see fit. You couldn’t tweak the bug fixes of course as there would be thousands and a long, long list, but reverting changes like this one to the Champion’s Cudgel would be handy.
My neice has been playing Skyrim and that weapon at 0:20 is the one I've always seen her eqipped with, and I'm pretty sure she's used it for 20+ levels now
Chaos damage is bugged on custom enchantments. Only the shock damage will increase based on skills/perks/magnitude. The fire and frost damage will always be 10 no matter what. Fiery Soul Trap will always do 10 points of fire damage: perks and magnitude adjustments will only affect the soul trap aspect. Fear enchantments will boost fire enchantments with Aspect of Terror. And fire enchantments will likewise boost Fear enchantments on the same weapon. There is never a need to put a soul trap or paralyze enchantment on a weapon with a duration longer than 1 second.
It weird he mentions all bugs about enchantments, but leaves out the most important bug that you mentioned, the chaos bug. And you are the only one that I have found as of yet who mentioned this
As low ranked as it is, let us not forget that the Banish Daedra enchantment may not be very useful in battle, but it's worth its weight in Septims by being the most valuable weapon enchantment if I recall correctly. Slap it on the iron daggers you forge and they'll jump in value from a couple dozen gold to more than a thousand!
Fiery soul trap with chaos damage on a stalhrim weapon is my favourite, paired with the destruction perks, necromage and black star to top it up on a low charge when it eventually needs it. Its the strongest legit damage you can do with a weapon in the game excluding the restoration pot glitch. Only unbound spells with max enchanted destruction potions, perks, and being a vampire with necromage is stronger. I pair this god tier weapon with the paralyse spell for easy kills in the game.
@@theWelshWizard Chaos can inflict all 3 types at once compared to frosts one type working all 3 destruction perks and can work on 99% of enemies. But i suppose frost is good as well for the guaranteed damage on frost. I think it'll be roughly the same. Out of Chaos or frost.
@@theWelshWizard but yes you're right having chaos and frost would be more but i like having the top up of soul traps with fiery soul trap without switching weapons or spells and still getting fire damage.
I've got an old Nord werewolf warrior who wears Ahzidal's Armour set minus the helmet, replaced with the Helm of Yngol (because they all benefit from the matching set with Steel plate for some reason) with a Nord Hero Battle Axe, when I get to the Extra Effect perk, I'm adding Frost damage and paralyse so enemies freeze in terror.
I feel compelled to talk about a character that I had years ago. She was a Breton Vampire with the Necromage perk. I was duel wielding Harkon’s Sword & a Glass Sword with the Paralysis and Fiery Soul Trap enchantments. Harkon’s Sword has all three absorb enchantments in it, so I was fairly unstoppable 😎 Makes me want to build that character again
I honestly thought there were 20+ enchantments since I've never seen them all but wow chaos is actually ridiculous. With all these options what could i possibly choose? Awesome video btw!
Underrated benefit of any magicka drain effect (absorb, drain and shock): mechanically, dragon breaths utilise the magicka bar, so you can eventually make a dragon completely unable to touch you from range
Absorb Health has always been my favorite, it's like getting a vampire bonus without the weaknesses. the only downside is that it can't affect those Mechanical enemies in Dwemer ruins. Absorb Stamina is hard to get, but putting it on a Melee weapon would allow you to keep using Power attacks indefinitely! i also like the Soul Trap enchantment, it only lasts a few seconds, but if you FINISH an enemy off with that weapon, you get their soul.
Another bonus to Absorb/Damage Magicka: Dragons' breath attacks actually are a spell that function off of their own Magicka pools. Watching a Dragon silenced by my bow with Absorb Magicka is hilarious.
one note about the chaos damage enchantment, it can also be found on nordic and stalhrim legendary weapons but at an extremely low drop chance so if you are lucky enough to find one or by using save scummming tactics then you won't have to disenchant the 'Champions Cudgel' a truly unique weapon in skyrim.
@@ianp8825 perhaps but not everyone may want to dupe or even know how. at least with the nordic & stalhrim weapons you have a legit way of getting both the enchantment and the cudgel albeit a method where you will most likely have to do a lot of saving and reloading, clear & let the dungeons respawn, or hope to get lucky.

I choose primarily depending on theme (and also what kind of glow I want on my weapon). Like having shock and frost for a thundersnow weapon. And about that, yes, if you have a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain (rare, but can happen) that is known as "thundersnow".
As a dedicated pugilist, the only enchantment I can rely on is the will to fight on 💪. That being said, wiith MCO and some of the movesets combined with the wizard warrior and smartcast AND the power of these enchants, there be a ton of damage that can be obtained for sure.
The combination i'd use is fiery souls and chaos damage. Plenty of damage to go around and no limit of uses when paired with azura's black star. An armor enchantments ranking would be great.
When im stealth archer (30-50% of the time or at least for a few minutes every hour) I just can't get over how OP the bound bow does with all the right enchantments. All of the bound perks including more damage, banish and soul trap with all of the archery perks, more damage, slow down time and paralysis chance, AND the stealth damage bonus from sneak, its insane. What doesnt die outright (which is only really tanky alerted enemies) just get frozen over and over often being re frozen as they stand up 🤣
Before you go and disenchant your Champion's Cudgel, you should be aware that on rare occasions, Glover Mallory sells weapons of chaos. Edit: From what I've seen and researched, these weapons are exclusively found as Nordic and Stahlrim.
I just lost a fantastic glass greatsword that had stamina drain during a fight with Sigdis Gauldurson last night. It was a phenomenal weapon for my two-handed melee specialist, Bhulc Met'Slahb, as it let him just keep those power attacks coming. Sigdis took that from him due to his disarm shout, combined with the barrage of unrelenting force shouts he and his doppelgangers can dish out, causing the sword to either despawn or get knocked through the level geometry. Poor Bhulc has next to no levels in enchanting, meaning it will probably be a long, long time before he can get his hands on a replacement. Absolutely trash boss fight, made worse because you have to endure it twice if you want to get the complete Gauldur Amulet.
I think it's worth mentioning that of the weapon enchantments turn undead and stamina damage are tied for the third most valuable making them a really strong way to level enchanting until you can get absorb health or even better if you can find banish
For 3 different builds regardless of skill path, my inevitable late-game mainstay has been a Stalrhim 2-handed weapon (type varies on flavor of build) with chaos damage and absorb stamina I've always called Champion's Bane.
It’s true, us Nords are drawn to the warriors path and typically frown upon use of Magic. But, I am no simple Nord. The allure of magic proved too strong to resist, so I sought it out. As a result, I am now a master of the blade and also a master of the arcane 🧙♂️
Heya welshwizard another lovely banger of a video! I was wondering if you’d ever be interested in reviewing some magic mods? It would be super fun to see your opinion on some of them!
I need to play with them first. But I do plan to do some challenge runs and incorporate some magic mods into the runs 🧙♂️ after I’ve tested those spells, I could well rank them after 👍 thanks for kind words man :)
SOUP IS POWER the effects on stamina and health regeneration stack, if I recall correctly, so just knock back 10 of them and you regenerate 10 stamina per second, which is not only infinite power attacks but ALSO infinite running
Tip here Enchant your armour with the destruction Enchantment so that the destruction spells cost zero then enchant your sword with absorb health and stamina and a dagger with paralysis and an enchantmen of your choice and thenget restoration to 70 get the necromage perk and become a vampire your stats will be enhanced and you'll be mawing down enemies with dual wielding and have sustain and unkillable😊
From what I’ve heard weapons with the chaos damage enchantment can be purchased from the Raven Rock blacksmith once your level is around 22. This only really matters if you like collecting unique weapons though.
I dont know if its possible but when you were talking about the fear enchantment, i got reminded of Battle cry for Nords. So i got curious if a race specific trait/perk rankings is possible. Maybe using skill tree perk stats combined would help with it
Base game back in 2011: Pair of axes Frost damage and Absorb Magicka + Shock Damage and Absorb Stam. Light modded: Chaos Damage and Chaos Absorb from the Black Bow of Fate.
Banish is situational, yes, but it’s also by far the best enchantment to upgrade your enchantment level, and a easy to get rich scheme if you put on iron daggers
Armor Enchantments, plz! And yeah, as far as weapons go, Chaos and Paralyze reign supreme. That twin souls perk is so overpowered though that I don't get it and stick to Fire or Frost enchanted weapons early on and Chaos enchanted weapons later. 😁
I love placing frost and lightning damage on my weapons. Hits health, stamina, and magicka Another good combo is the silent moons enchantment and paralyze Also, Dual Absorb Health is 🤢 I forgot about firey soul trap! Love using it with absorb health on a war axe or a battle-axe for the bleed damage
I kind of wish we could disenchant the dendime of the savant (probably misspelled that some) for the reduction in all schools of magic (I can easily see people abusing this lol) also the dwarven black bow of fate for its enchantment I'd be pairing that with chaos in a heartbeat lol a little fun fact about the notched pickaxe and the poacher's axe is that they are the only ones of their kind that can have their weapon damage upgraded and honestly only the poacher's axe's enchantment has any viability and that's only for people hunting for hides and pelts to make leather for making gear but once you get about 40+ damage on a weapon most animals that you're going to hunt for the materials can be one shotted
Well why would they? They are too blind to find out which ones are keepers and not. They got rid of the bucket trick to only put it back in due to fan demand.

What doesnt die outright (which is only really tanky alerted enemies) just get frozen over and over often being re frozen as they stand up 🤣
"...some enemies are completely immune to paralysis"
*Lists Astrid*
yup, checks out lol
I didn't know that you could disenchanted the champions thingy. This will go well with my current play through. Welsh fella.
make sure to dupe it once so you can keep the weapon as a souvenir xD
Before you go and disenchant your Champion's Cudgel, you should be aware that on rare occasions, Glover Mallory sells weapons of chaos.
Edit: From what I've seen and researched, these weapons are exclusively found as Nordic and Stahlrim.
I like putting paralyze and frost damage on glass swords and selling knock-off copies of Chillrend.
I always dual wield to activate 4 enchantments at once
That fight is cool but pain, Deathlords made me a Conjure Sword man for a while.
Cant disarm what isnt there
Thanks for the video. Please mention what enchantments gives most exp for fast level up in armor enchantments video.
The more expensive the enchantment, the more xp it gives
Fiery Soul Trap is so OP.
Soul trap is a good enchantment but if you have your destruction cost 100% less to cast then your enchantments last forever
17:33 Wait Wizard, youre a Nord? But I thought they hate magic? *You dare call yourself a Nord??*
@ ooooo challenge rounds sound fun hope they end up being lots of fun to play with, and anytime dude!
SOUP IS POWER
the effects on stamina and health regeneration stack, if I recall correctly, so just knock back 10 of them and you regenerate 10 stamina per second, which is not only infinite power attacks but ALSO infinite running
Absorb Health and Absorb Stamina was my go to in my first playthrough.
Also 🗣️unique weapons ranked🗣️
Thanks, shalidor!
Tip here
Enchant your armour with the destruction Enchantment so that the destruction spells cost zero then enchant your sword with absorb health and stamina and a dagger with paralysis and an enchantmen of your choice and thenget restoration to 70 get the necromage perk and become a vampire your stats will be enhanced and you'll be mawing down enemies with dual wielding and have sustain and unkillable😊
Thank you for the good vids and keeping us Americans in mind lol. In return I’ll say, keep up making those bloody good videos mate. 👍
Haha my pleasure :) “Have a good one, buddy.”
Chaos + Fiery soul trap on 1 dagger, chaos + drain life on the other.
And for Dwemer automatons, chaos + fire on both
Magic Resist+ Atronach Stone + Breton= Mage and Dragon’s worst nightmare
From what I’ve heard weapons with the chaos damage enchantment can be purchased from the Raven Rock blacksmith once your level is around 22. This only really matters if you like collecting unique weapons though.
You can also use the duplication glitch to get the enchantment faster and keep the champion weapon as a collectable
1:52 SECUNDA IS ONE OF THE CELESTIAL BODIES IN THE SKY?!?!? Oh my god I never knew, it’s my favorite song in the ost too😭😭 oh god I’m a fake fan🥲😭😂
That giant 28:16 is surely gonna have serious back problems after
I don't remember how but once got a weapon with 275 chaos damage but I know I didn't do any glitches but I did use a stalhrim sword
Banish is situational, yes, but it’s also by far the best enchantment to upgrade your enchantment level, and a easy to get rich scheme if you put on iron daggers
Chaos + Fiery Soul Trap is my favorite.
Paralyze + Chaos is a top contender though.
Armor Enchantments, plz!
And yeah, as far as weapons go, Chaos and Paralyze reign supreme. That twin souls perk is so overpowered though that I don't get it and stick to Fire or Frost enchanted weapons early on and Chaos enchanted weapons later. 😁
Having a fear enchantment on a dagger could be useful as a backup weapon for a mage or archer to keep some distance.
I love placing frost and lightning damage on my weapons. Hits health, stamina, and magicka
Another good combo is the silent moons enchantment and paralyze
Also, Dual Absorb Health is 🤢
I forgot about firey soul trap! Love using it with absorb health on a war axe or a battle-axe for the bleed damage
I could be wrong but I believe there's an unnamed cave with a bow that has the same enchantment as the poachers axe
Undead disco! Here we gooooo! :D
🕺
I kind of wish we could disenchant the dendime of the savant (probably misspelled that some) for the reduction in all schools of magic (I can easily see people abusing this lol) also the dwarven black bow of fate for its enchantment I'd be pairing that with chaos in a heartbeat lol
a little fun fact about the notched pickaxe and the poacher's axe is that they are the only ones of their kind that can have their weapon damage upgraded and honestly only the poacher's axe's enchantment has any viability and that's only for people hunting for hides and pelts to make leather for making gear but once you get about 40+ damage on a weapon most animals that you're going to hunt for the materials can be one shotted
Absorb health + chaos dmg = the most op combo ive ever tried
Skyrim has been re-released 800 times and Bethesda can't be bothered to fix any of these bugs.....
Well why would they? They are too blind to find out which ones are keepers and not.
They got rid of the bucket trick to only put it back in due to fan demand.
Personal choice for a weapon: Fiery Soul Drain with Chaos Damage, on a Stalhrim Bow.
Yes please for armor enchantments. :)
I completely agree with your S tier.
