Nothing beats the sound of those old Urgos movements.
My aunt used to have this clock in her house and it was built in circa 1985.
Holy crap that’s some long rods
Westminster sounds like Big Ben.
This has a Jauch movement.
No it has an Urgos
My great grandpa had the same clock, only with a metal lyre pendulum. My great uncle now has the clock.
I like the Westminster chime on this clock.
I do too.
This Westminster chime is a note higher than all of the other grandfather clocks.
Than all the other howard miller grandfather clocks? Yes. This one is a discontinued model and isn't very easy to find.
This has Westminster, Whittington and Winchester. The 3 W's.
That it does.
Is there a similar model that has St. Michael’s chime.
Does this grandfather clock have glass on the side panels so you can see the movement?
it has the wood and glass side panels. If I recall, HM doesn't manufacture this model any more so it's quite a treat for one to own.
@@Monster404ftp yours is a 1991 model
@@Monster404ftp model 610-463
What model number is this?
Unsure. I sold it recently.
610-463, Just found it in another thread.
I believe it is from 1989. This is the 63rd anniversary edition.
I subbed to you.
So if the Howard Miller Triple Chime Grandfather clock plays Winchester it might play the Urgos Westminster chime.
Is that pendulum orginal?
No, it's one I borrowed out of my emperor grandfather clock until I get a proper Lyre pendulum for the howard miller.
Does this have glass on the side so that you can see the movement?
Yes it does.
