I bought this clock for $75 on FB marketplace. Not an antique but it's a good timekeeper. Enjoy!
Kienzle Westminster Chimes (Repaired)

I've installed and tuned a replacement chime rod in the 1920's Kienzle Wall clock.

This clock was a total basket case when it arrived, I've repaired the seatboard, straightened out the hammers and strike side hammer arbor, oiled the movement, and have replaced The suspension spring. The dial is still needing attention but I don't know how to clean it without rubbing the numbers off. The chime block is also missing 2 gong rods, one on the chime side and one on the strike side,...

Cuckoo and quail clock, most likely of the 1890's vintage.

This ain't my best playing but I hope you can enjoy it anyway. I was getting warmed up too.
That's a fast cuckoo call
The cuckoo call which sounds after the quail call operates at a normal pace, I assume you're referring to the Quail call that goes off every 15 minutes. Anyway, yes, most cuckoo quail clocks have a fast quail call. I'd be concerned if it was sounding the quail call slowly (internal problems, etc.)
This model is “Navy No.25” and yours is between 1908-1910 since the coil gong is riveted and same sound as “Capitol No.44” from 1908!
Is this for sale?
It was when I saw it at the clock shop (location where this was filmed). They likely have sold it by now but have others for sale
nice!
So if the Howard Miller Triple Chime Grandfather clock plays Winchester it might play the Urgos Westminster chime.
Holy crap that’s some long rods
My aunt used to have this clock in her house and it was built in circa 1985.

Nothing beats the sound of those old Urgos movements.
What model number is this?
Unsure. I sold it recently.
610-463, Just found it in another thread.
I believe it is from 1989. This is the 63rd anniversary edition.
Westminster sounds like Big Ben.
0:50 Cuckoo!
haha :D
I subbed to you.
Does this have glass on the side so that you can see the movement?
Yes it does.
Does this grandfather clock have glass on the side panels so you can see the movement?
it has the wood and glass side panels. If I recall, HM doesn't manufacture this model any more so it's quite a treat for one to own.

This has a Jauch movement.
No it has an Urgos
My great grandpa had the same clock, only with a metal lyre pendulum. My great uncle now has the clock.
This has Westminster, Whittington and Winchester. The 3 W's.
That it does.
Is there a similar model that has St. Michael’s chime.
Is that pendulum orginal?
No, it's one I borrowed out of my emperor grandfather clock until I get a proper Lyre pendulum for the howard miller.
I like the Westminster chime on this clock.
I do too.
This Westminster chime is a note higher than all of the other grandfather clocks.
Than all the other howard miller grandfather clocks? Yes. This one is a discontinued model and isn't very easy to find.
does anybody know where i can buy the pendulum for this clock
Look on ebay.
I have one of these, mine chirps and cuckoo's slower than this one, but very nice.
Another very nice clock. I don't think I have ever seen one that works were open to the air like this one to let the sound out more I guess.
That was a beautiful clock. What got you started on collecting them all?
Greetings! Sorry for replying 4 years late, I'm not on my youtube channel very often but I do still have this fine piece. But to answer your question, my grandma had a grandfather clock when I was a kid, and I remember it chiming every 15 minutes. That's what started it all. Poor old thing needs a new stop wheel for the chimes, it has a hermle 451-050 chain drive 3 train westminster chime movement. I've got a donor 451-050 out of my ridgeway I'll use parts off of. I would've used it as a replacement, but the minute hand arbor is way too long to fit. So instead it'll be getting parted out in favor of fixing the grandfather clock.
There are so many of these clocks and I am not sure you could find two that are the same. The alarm is quiet irritating, lol, But you could make your own wire for it to be complete.
It has one of the wires, but I plan on fitting another one and making the alarm work again at some point. For now it's a T&S and that's good enough for me lol.
Very Nice collection you have Kareldki94
Thank you
This is a beautiful Cuckoo Clock. You can turn the coil spring, just a little, that the hammer hits for a nicer gong sound.
Thank you, I attempted to adjust it to the right gap but it still sounds a little flat. It's worth mentioning that this isn't the original back and gong, so it doesn't sound the best on camera. It's a bit clearer in person
That is so darn old.
And that's the best part about this clock.
Look like my aunt’s grandfather clock only differences are the fact that it’s a triple chime and I think it’s the case color too.
That's awesome. And yeah $75 is excellent. It had been on FB marketplace for weeks and I had to have it.
Are you a clock collector?
I am.
Cool.
$75 is a pretty good deal on one of these clocks.

Very nice sound! Plus, for the courtesy of you and others who view this, there are actually words for the Westminster chime and they are below if you want to read them while listening or sing along. It begins at the 0:36 mark. Lord, through this hour, be Thou our guide. So, by Thy power, no foot shall slide. These words are based on Psalm 37:23-24, where David the psalmist declares this: The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delighteth in His way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand.
Thank you! It was a fair amount of work getting this clock to run properly again, but it is quite the reliable timepiece.

Wow, that dial is absolutely filthy! I've never seen one this bad. They are normally nearly pristine (bright shiny gold and silver).
Yeah it looks pretty bad. I wish the staff of the clock shop it's located at would clean that dial.
It might also be tarnished to a certain extent. sounds good though, eh?
