  • Cab view on the Ome Line, from Ome Station to Mitake Station, 8.7km. First, I created a video that recorded the area from Ome Station to Okutama Station, but it ended up being a long video of 33 minutes, so I split it into two parts. Please consider this time as part 1 of Ome → Okutama. The map at the beginning also includes a map made from Ome to Okutama, but this video only covers the halfway point. ^-^)ゞ
As I explained in the video from Haijima Station to Ome Station that I uploaded last time, the Ome Line was originally created as a private railway, and traces of this still remain, such as the short distances between stations.
All of the routes recorded this time are single-track. The track was laid along the south side of the low mountain range, and although it is not visible in the video, the Tama River valley continues to the left in the direction of travel. There is a sake manufacturer near Sawai Station that uses water from this river, and they make a sake called ``Sawanoi'' that is popular among connoisseurs.
In this way, this area is a place where nature is outstanding. Plum blossoms are blooming everywhere. Although this video was shot in February, you can see that the arrival of full-fledged spring is near.
At Ome Station, which appears at the beginning of the video, there is a signboard advertising classic movies from the past on the concourse. Ome calls itself a ``movie town,'' and similar signs are posted all over the city.

      Oume is
It is written as ``青'' and ``梅''.
      青(ao) means blue.
      梅 (ume)means plum.
      It's not the dog's name.

Love the single track aspect as mentioned by the other viewer in the comments. The switch up from suburban to rural to urban is quite interesting and makes your videos an absolute pleasure to watch. Keep up the awesome content. Much love from NYC.

Very beautiful scenic ride. The train passes by the mountain side, the air is very clean to breathe. Enjoyed the train ride. Thank you very much.

The Tama River seen from the train window is also beautiful.
However, this is a side view and cannot be seen from the front.
      Thanks for your comment.

Good to see the journey in the opposite direction.

Since this line has only one driver on board, the cab at the rear of the train is completely empty (although the door is locked).
However, for some reason, the view from behind is more tiring than the view from the front.

@@14ikesan12 Thank you, a misunderstanding I think. I was not very specific - I had watched the previous video, and this one was the return journey. I do know what you mean by travelling backwards though - it gives me a headache. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your comment. I also don't use English in my daily life, so I'm getting more and more rusty. I don't think I've been able to fully express what I think either.
Anyway. Interest in railways is universal. Also, in order to create good creations, it is absolutely necessary to make mistakes and overcome them.
Please continue to give me advice. I will adopt that.

@@14ikesan12 Don't worry about your English! It is better than my non-existent Japanese! What counts is the love of railways and politeness of the comments. Keep up the good work and greetings from the UK. 🙂

@@tonywise198 I can't believe that British people compliment my English! 🙂
      Great translation software! !
Regardless, I would like to incorporate the opinions of many people and increase the value of the videos we provide and the time we share.
I will continue to welcome your advice.
Thank you for your comment. I was relieved.

What a great ride! I love a single track line in the mountains. The track side scenery is beautiful. Is it early autumn or early spring? Some of the plants had vivid green colors. Thanks for another great video ! ❤❤😂😂😂

This video was shot in February. In May, the landscape will be filled with fresh greenery. In this video, plum blossoms are blooming here and there. Peach blossoms bloom in March and cherry blossoms bloom in April.

@@user-AZ-phil The plum blossoms have a wonderful color. Fresh greenery would also be nice.
