What year is you 1000-5 I see there site say they only got a 2021 and old I have a 2024 I don't think there is a difference. But I just want to verify before I buy
Short answer, hell YES! I am 6' and 215 lb and think it is actually very comfortable in the back now. You sit so much higher so your knees aren't in your face and the cushion is so much better than the factory "pad". This mod alone stopped me from selling my Pioneer 1000. I was on the verge because nobody ever wanted to ride in the back, and my kids hated sitting back there (ages 7-16). Now they fight for the back because it is so much nicer than the bench seat front.
@@4wheelboogie451 we have a 2022 and in order to get the seatbelts to work, we needed to remove the springs on the seatbelts and grind the knuckle down a bit in order to get the belt receivers to lay back enough to make room for the chairs to sit properly in the rig. Works perfect with those tiny mods! We love them!

Great result. Once installed, to can't fold them down to use the bed, correct? Thank you
Thank you for sharing
Correct, they can be removed in seconds though to allow use of the bed. Very nice design.
How much added leg room does this give?
A lot, puts your knees at a much more comfortable position

Mine's a 2020
Can you still fold them down?
You can pull them out in a few seconds and fold them down
Could you do a different seat? Why not just use the original Pioneer rear seat.
These are much more comfortable than the OEM seats
Is it more comfortable for adults now?
I'm 6'1" and fit well

Has anyone tried these on a 2023? The supplier website says they’re for 2021 and older. I’ve tried messaging them to ask but no response.
I don't think the bed changed - they should fit
Thanks for your reply. They came back in stock so I went ahead and ordered them. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼
@@markcrapo8719 you will love them

@@rebmaleuqram That is interesting......I didn't have to do anything on my 2019 to get them to work. Regardless, these seat bottoms are well worth it!
@@rebmaleuqram good to know, mine is a 2020, so there must have been a change with the new model
HOW LET SEAT DOWN
You have to remove the seat base - then it goes down just like stock
