I don't know if you guys have thought of this but for cleaning your hard floors I highly recommend a steam mop. They are really easy to use and they are also very sanitary because you only clean with steam and the mop pads are machine washable. It would be easier I think than having to get on your hands and knees and you wouldn't have to worry about nasty mop water.

so I am a first year music major. I play multiply instruments but my main are trumpet and French horn.
I recently found put that my chronic illness is getting worse and it i becoming harder and harder for me to do what i love. I was recently put on a list for a lung transplant. however if I get a knew lung i will have to be very careful with my activity which means quitting music.
This is why I love The Frey Life so much. Because when I'm in a practice room trying to breath and relax after practicing i can sit and watch your videos. I can remember that I still have a lot of amazing things to be thankful for. and even if I can no longer play i can still listen and teach and appreciate. Thank you Frey Life and Frey Life family for being my support.

I must say that you are Amazing ! The trumpet is very hard to play and the French horn is even harder there hard for someone without lung problems let alone someone with lung problems, be proud of yourself :0)

Patricia Fluegel thanks. i do actually play several instruments and have tried just about every string instrument. They are just not my forte. I don't really understand them. I am thinking of shifting to Piano next fall however I've only played that for about a year and a half. Ill never 100% give up on music. It is just going to take me a while to find a part of music that doesn't involve breathing and still makes me love what I do.

I'm dealing with a lot of health issues myself...but my best friend of over 35 years was recently diagnosed with Huntington's disease and she's only 43. Even though I wasn't feeling my best today I pushed through so I can help her with errands and such since she can no longer drive. Mary you inspire me to live my life the best I can and that will be many days spending time with my best friend. Thank you 💞

I've been facing some hard challenges in my personal life and my mental health, and I was sat on my bed crying when I remembered I hadn't watched the Frey Life yet. Watching you take your challenges as they come has really helped me find some strength this evening. Thank you so much for bringing sunshine into even our greyest days 🌥⛅️🌤☀️

I love coming along each day, your honesty about day to day life with a chronic illness. My brother won the "Citizen of Courage: Bravery over Adversity" award in our town when he was 14- he had Muscular Dystrophy. You remind me of him a lot. You show bravery over adversity! Keep walking the tightrope, you've got 114,000 people backing you! xx

Jennifer Cannon I have chronic back pain, spinal stenosis, neuropathy and my functioning level has been worsening for a while. I'm in bed for days if I overdue myself then I pay for it. A trip to the store in my wheelchair can push me over the edge these days. I wish I was able to do what I think I can't do. It's been ages since I have been able to clean the bathroom, I hate that is left for my husband to do. Bless him. My body won't let me more and more often. I miss being able to just do what I want when I want to do it. I used to take being physically able for granted.

Jennifer Cannon You are not alone in the struggle. I can have a few days where my workout/physical therapy feels so doable. And then I am sitting in the doctors office getting a vascular scan, or looking at my shoulder, or they are trying to decide if I have a new bacteria or virus ... like but "GRR" I was doing so good, can't I put these body issues on pause for longer? But all one can do is find peace and happiness in those moments when you are struggling a lil less ... and keep on keeping on. Sending love ❤️

i love the color grey. its the perfect color for reminding us we have to make choices each day. we can expect it to look darker and full of storms. however as bad as that seems, our choices are to remember to look for God in every storm in our lives or to choose to battle those storms alone. when we see the lighter side my only choice is there is always remember there is light at the end of every tunnel and he is always with us arms open wide to carry us if we need it, or to just walk with us. again, i love the color grey

one minute I can't do something doesn't mean the next I will be able to. my chronic illness is still the boss of what I do. it's learning to manage things in the timely matter others want it done. that's when pushing my chronic fatigue and pain is a struggle. I totally understand the balance of doing work verses giving your body the rest it needs. darn chronic health issues.

Mary, have you tried massaging your scalp with your fingertips, either gently or harder? I find that when I have a headache of that type it is mainly tension based, and so massaging helps lessen it (in addition to increasing my fluids and resting!). I find that if the headache is worse than I'd expected it to be, then I do a slightly OTT thing by moving the plates in the skull apart (as when they are too close they cause problems in me). The plates should have fused, but they haven't fused in me yet, and I can still find the edges of them. I just pull them apart a bit, all along one edge of the plate, and then find another one and repeat... It might help for you.
If you'd just prefer to try the massaging with your fingertips, (after gently detangling, such as brushing or wide combing your hair), to make it more of a pampery, self indulgenty thing, maybe add in an oil that your body seems to like, preferably an organic cold pressed one (such as coconut oil, avocado, jojoba, sweet almond, scented/unscented caster oil etc). You only need a very small amount to cover a large area. For example, a drop of an oil could cover your entire lower arm when massaged or gently rubbed in, so you don't need very much at all on your scalp. Maybe put a drop on your hands, rub them together and then let a tiny amount of it cover the tips of your fingers just so they are a little bit more shinier than usual, then massage your scalp. If it feels to be dry, look at your fingertips to check, and if they are not shiny then use your hands to make the fingertips a tiny bit shiny again. If you don't use too much, and massage the oil you did use into the scalp thoroughly, then you won't have your hair looking oily. Then brush your hair and scalp as usual to check that your hair is totally detangled and then prepare your hair as you usually would for bedtime. I would recommend having some more fluid to drink (as some 'toxins'/'lactic acid' or tension is said to be removed from the area and fluid helps the body process and flush them out of your system), and then try to have an early night after doing this as the massage can relax and calm you enough to get more restful or healing sleep or rest time. Grab all benefits you can! Especially if they are likely bring improvements into the next day, right!
However, you can do this and work some oil into the rest of your hair (hold some areas that feel drier than the rest, usually at the ends, and use your fingers to push, massage, and work the oil into your hair, with any movements made being in a downward direction). Once this is done, I recommend brushing gently or wide combing the hair, and then putting it into a braid, securing where and as needed (and feel free to put it in a silk bonnet/or wrap it as required to keep the oil in the hair not on your pillowcases!). This oil can be used as a treatment that is best left overnight, for at least one night. I use it as a leave in treatment between washes (I am too unwell to wash my hair more often than once a week!). You can treat your hair as normal the next morning as far as brushing, and changing the braid/do, or leaving it down. If you didn't use much oil, it is likely you might not detect the oil, but note the improvements in your hair. Should you want to repeat working the oil into the hair and scalp, then you easily can. You likely won't need as much oil as you did the first time, and you might just need to focus on specific areas, so re evaluate your hair and scalp with both your clean bare hands and a mirror, before you even open the oil container!

Bless your heart Mary! I hate to see you struggling on certain days! I love how to choose to live each day and be glad in it! You are the definition of strength in my eyes! Your grace is abundant and I love how you push yourself!
Also.. I keep meaning to ask. I also have an enlarged liver and pancreas. I cannot take NSAIDS like found in Tylenol and Advil. I know they say sometimes say Tylenol doesn't have NSAIDs in it but it's hard on my kidneys too. I can't take Advil, Alene, Aspirin, etc due to my liver. Once I stopped taking them my stomach straightened up and quit hurting as bad, and my liver counts and size improved as well. Just a thought but I'm sure as detailed as you are with your Dr.'s and Team they would not have you take it if it wasn't good for you.. also can you use a CPAP while sleep or is it not good for your lungs when you go to cough. If your oxygen is down on your numbers some mornings from meds and other health issues then could that be causing some of your early headaches you have wake up with? Through process of elimination, I've been able to improve my day to day functions some just by figuring out what I can and cannot take.. anyway just a thought but you don't have to answer me! I just was curious if you had talked or asked about any of the above before now!
Good job to you both on the new store launch!! I'm sure everyone will be patient as you tweak out all the minor issues and that's to be expected with anything new like that!! 💞💞💪☺️

Moriganna Brown, very interesting! I was hospitalized for a week with the pneumonia. Was given 2 different IV antibiotics and have been on 3 more rounds of different antibiotics since then. Along with multiple rounds of steroid shots. We're looking into immune deficiencies as well as autoimmune disorders. I'm just ready for answers. Tired of being so exhausted all the time. I've litteraly spent the last 3 months in bed doing absolutely nothing. And of course the "normal" chronic illnesses and chronic pain I have don't help the situation at all, as you well know. Keep hangin' in there! Hopefully we'll both get some answers soon!

I cleaned our shower yesterday, hard water stains. The worst thing was the cleaner I had to use.....I still smell it on my hands. Ugh!

Melissa Mital I hate that!!! I got the shower sprayer thing from Mr bubbles or w.e he's called lol I have chronic pain n pain in my hands n arms n so cleaning, esp the shower is very difficult for me. this helps bc u just have it run after a shower or w.e n it cleans it.hope maybe that might help you!

Raven Moore I was thinking about something similar. I have asthma and sinus issues so it just kills me to spray the cleaner, but I have to use something strong to get the harder water build up to dissipate.

    • @melissamital3523
      @melissamital3523 7 років тому

Raven Moore I also use an extendable handle squeegee and a pump up plant sprayer to rinse the walls.

I use vinegar and water to clean. My mom and I have bad asthma and allergies. If you need to scrub something a solution of salt a lemon to use to scrub. We don't have any chemical cleaners in our home.

Melissa Mital aw I'm so sorry my husband has very bad asthma and allergies so I try to do the cleaning that involves chemicals though I have looked into making my own like vlogging peacock but I just need to start. I'm thinking of making something like this to use in that scrubby bubbles sprayer:
      www.everydaycheapskate.com/home-and-family/how-to-make-ugly-soap-scum-mildew-and-water-marks-disappear-like-magic/
I know vinegar is still strong and some have problems with dawn but I hope you can find something that helps make this easier on you! ❤

What do you usually take for your headaches. I get bad headaches and I'm in topomax but also take Maxalt when it comes on. It's a migraine medicine.. Perhaps that could help you? I hate seeing you in pain :(

I completely understand trying not to cough when your head is thumping. I was wondering i you had ever cracked a rib through coughing? Since I became Brittle Asthmatic I fairly regularly crack ribs and it is so, so painful. Keeping on top of that pain so I can cough freely is quite difficult even with morphine.

Mary, what products do you use to clean with? I know my lungs react to strong smelling products, even though I like my house to smell good. Just wondering if that is an issue for you and if you find you can handle one product better than another. Can you use air fresheners and candles, perfume with no problem?

Would you be able to paint something that represents Earth, Wind, Fire and Water? (colors, green for earth, Yellow for wind, Red for fire, and Blue for water) This would be something everyone would enjoy, it can be four separate and then one combined.

Mary we make a fruit salad that is great so you drain a can of fruit cocktail then you add cool whip we cut red apple 🍎 and banana 🍌 in it we add a tablespoon of miracle whip I know sounds weird but it adds a little tang then add small marshmallows stir it all together it's so yummy 😀 I hope you try it sometime ❤️ Janay

Have you ever tried massage therapy? I have and it really helps me! Also, I have a daith piercing that helps me with my migraines, have you considered it? When I feel a migraine coming, I move my Daith piercing up and down and it feels like cold water running down my neck and within 20 minutes my migraine is gone.
