Hi, the nice thing about atemoya is that it can fruits within a year and more in a few years. So buying a bigger tree it doesn't offset as much as a bigger tree.

Very Beautiful and healthy looking tree you got. With that size it should be able to fruit soon. Great video! Thanks for sharing 👍❤️

Thank you chi. I saw your Lisa fruits and was drooling. I already got a Lisa tree. But only flower no fruits. So I have to find a healthy giant one to give me fruits this year. Heheh

What’s a good size pot if you want to keep sugar apple in a pot forever? Thanks

I’m gonna try 25-30 but will plant 6 to rotate them out after a few years of hopefully fruiting.

Do you plan on keeping it in the container?

@@youngsgarden8766 I'm with you. I have a somewhat small yard. I've put pavers in my backyard. I've been buying tropical trees and I also want to keep them in containers. I have a small Atemoya tree, but I don't think I'll get any fruit for years. I want to get a large tree like yours, but they are so expensive. What do you think about Mimosa Nursery?

@@youngsgarden8766 yeah inflation is real. If you are willing to dig tree, you can get tree 3x size for under $100.

Hi new sub here , when is the atemoya season in so. Cal ? I enjoyed the video you posted of your parents atemoyas and wax Jambu and pummelo in front of the house. So you prefer AP to geffner because AP is chewy? I’m from Sacramento . I’m. Thinking on buying an atemoya.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Atemoya texture and taste is way better than cheriomya by far. The chewiness is what people likes. The custard is thicker and chewier. Not smushie like a cheriomya. And it’s easy to get fruits when you hand pollinate.
