This was such a fun process learning about and trying the traditional Rwandan art form of Imigongo. It's pretty amazing how beautiful abstract wall art can be made from an unusual material like cow dung!

Dry cowdung is a highly insulating, light but stiff building material.
The Karl May Museum in Germany has a 150 year old piece of buffalo dung in it's collection for visitors to touch. :)

Really enjoyed the video and appreciated the fun of being taken along for the entire process of "acquiring materials", overall good production value and great video though i personally did miss having the georguess backdrops while you were doing stuff in the foreground that your property seems to have at every turn somehow, though the composition of that shot outside was really nice great choices all the same, fantastic work

@@itsConnorCreates you would find a lot of use in the India traditions... since here cows are considered holy, till date in villages and some suburban areas cowdung is used for many things! And if you look into it...there are many Indiana arts based on it...
"Kamadhuk painting" style is one of them! You should look into it! I feel you'll like it :)
@@itsConnorCreates ohh, in our Indian and Hindu culture cows are considered to be sacred and still today cow dung is used for many things in the suburban areas.
there are many artstyles which are specifically and traditionally done on cow dung like the "Madhubani painting" style or the "Kamadhuk" painting style. you should look into it, i feel you'll like!! :)

I kept getting startled by looking at your hands thinking you decided to remove your gloves halfway through the process for no reason, turns out those gloves are just very transparent.
