Hi, Ginger. I really like when you shop at Talize. They always have sooo many good things at great prices. I do not think we have Talize in the USA. I will see something and see sooo many possibilities, and I know you do that also. At (10:50) you picked up what looked like a silverware wooden holder - the kind that goes in a drawer, and holds spoons, forks and knives. It would have made a great book case in a doll house. I loved the oval top (11:39) and it will make a great table top. You will have to let us know if the Ronco cordless sewing machine works. I can't believe it is over 50 years old. (12: 12) What's funny is I remember back in the 1970s my grandmother had one. (ja, ja) And I know absolutely nothing about the Ronco cordless sewing machine. I like the closet (15:49). It is different from your other closets. As I rethink the baby grand piano, you should re-look at it and just raise it up Higher. My fav was the oval top.
Hi Sharon, I like Talize, but they're prices are higher than Goodwill but I think lower than Value Village :) just got an email yesterday, they're having a 40% off everything sale on Monday, so I'm hoping weather good, so I can go :) The Ronco cordless doesn't work, at least it was 50% off :) lol :) i wish i took the piano, angry at myself now, i'm always angrier when its a 50% off day and I miss something :) definitely could have raised it and would have been great for marilyn's condo :) thank you so much for watching and commenting, I hope all is well :)
You found more super cool things at great prices!! ❣️❣️❣️That candlestick is very pretty! ❣️That Ikea candle holder will make an awesome side table or a base for a coffee table!❣️ The wood sticks & craft bits are both such useful finds & such great prices!!❣️ It's so fun to see the different items at your thrift shops & also how some items are the same even though we live so far apart!! I love the oval wooden plague as a dining table top!! ❣️That portable sewing machine is so cool! ❣️I wonder if it needs any oil? Maybe google it to see what you can find out about it. That closet is awesome! ❣️❣️❣️I love the windows/ doors on !!❣️❣️❣️ Thank you so much for taking us along!!❣️❣️❣️
The closet was the best thing you got! The Ronco is, at best, not a sewing machine, but only a means to baste something with a top stitch for later sewing. You are better off using gaffer tape or pins. It is so humbug to use that it is easier and faster, with less chance of chewing up the cloth, to just hand baste it. The only people who buy those are people who know nothing about sewing machines!😂 But if you look at the bottom, the seam has split open, I believe. No telling what has become disarranged inside. It's going to take a fix-it type to make it jab thread again.
I think so too, I love the closet and haven't seen anything similar when thrifting :) I actually don't know anything about sewing machines, they intimidate me but I want to learn, so i can buy one, i did buy a small one, it kinda looks like a toy, i bought it a couple of years ago and still haven't used it :) but i am pulling it out soon. I'm giving up on the ronco, it was 50% off so that's why i took the chance, its over 50 years old, not surprised it doesn't work :) thank you sooooo much for watching and commenting :)
Thank you so much! I love how they look :) the tall slimmer ones are best, because they take up less room, but i also love the round ones :) they take up more room but look cooler :)
I can’t wait to see what you do with the clothes wardrobe! I’m sure whatever it is, it will be amazing!!! I love the clear containers and how you display your crafting supplies. ❤
Would have taken the piano. You could have made it taller😊 beside the popcorn tin there was two things with legs one white and one greenish brown. If you made a thick fluffy mattress for those the would make good twin beds. Not sure if there long enough but cool 😊
The green metal item at 3:39 would have made a wonderful side table/bench/plant stand etc. I loved the little ceramic jar at 7:17, would it have been too large as a floor vase? I would love to see you turn the closet at 15:41 into a China cabinet or hutch instead of another closet. I absolutely love your videos, they inspire me as I work on my own dollhouse. Keep the videos coming....and Happy New Year to you!!! 🎉🎉
I think I will turn it into a china cabinet, i have enough closets to makeover :) you are sooooo sweet, you inspire me, I love reading your comments, thank you sooooo much for taking the time, you're awesome!!! Happy New Year :)
That was a fun tag-along thrift hunt, with good finds! I thought of you last week when I was at a little senior center thrift store in our area. They had many Barbie items including a bus, bags of furniture and even a tall Barbie house with spiral staircase. The tall house folded up, which was great too! The prices were amazing! The big folding house (in fine condition), along with a big bag of furniture for it was only $4.00! And, there was even that identical Barbie closet you bought in this video! It was only $1.00! I do 1:12 and 1:16 dollhouses and miniatures, so I simply couldn’t use any of the Barbie items, despite their wonderful condition and prices! So, I left all of the Barbie goodies (including the bus for only $1.00!), hoping some child found them, was thrilled and bought them to take home to enjoy I thought the prices on all of these Barbie things were fabulous, don’t you? Also, I think the way you both store and display many of your craft supply items is great! I do similarly in my little art studio, where I have my dollhouses, craft supplies, etc. I’m the kind of person, that overall, if I don’t see what supplies I have, I tend to forget I have them! I have my supplies of old broken jewelry, watches , etc in one big glass apothecary and another big glass jar that holds my glass beads, etc. When the sun shines on them through the windows, they’re all so pretty! Thanks for this latest video. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the closet! Enjoy the week! Kathleen
Thank you soooo much :) .... what.... what.... $4.....$1 wow! wow! Amazing prices!! I would jump at it :) I love 1:12, my first videos were Polly Pocket dollhouses :) I still have most of my polly stuff and one of the houses. I'm the same.... I need to see all my supplies, especially the unque ones, paint, glue, things like that, i like to keep behind doors, there's more i want to display, especially the thingamajigs :) Thank you so much for watching and commenting :) You too :)
Thanks for taking me along. I can no longer physically go thrifting but you make feel like I’m right there with you. I wanted you to take the utensil holder for shelves. Thanks again.
So sorry you can't go thrifting.... it makes me so happy, you're enjoying these videos :) I have a couple of the utensil holders ... Thank you so much for watching and commenting :) God bless.
That wooden kitchen drawer organizer at 10:46 would make an awesome Barbie closet. My fav would’ve been the sewing thing if it worked. Thanks for taking us along.
I have a couple of the drawer organizers.... yah, i'm sad it didn't work, but i was taking a chance, if it wasn't 50% off i wouldn't have bought it... so at least i didn't spend too much on it :)
Love the newest video!! And I really love seeing what you get to store your supplies in. Going to have to rewatch the video you did on your craft room (?). My mother passed away a little over a year ago and I bought my childhood home. Now I will have plenty of room for my Barbies and crafting! I am definitely going to be using some of your ideas!!! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you soooo much :) So sorry about your mom. I like the tall slim ones, you can fit more on a shelf, but my favourite are the round ones, but they take up more space :) thank you soooo much :) you too :)
Buy a hundred dollar Brother sewing machine from Walmart. Never buy those blankety-blank things. I think they have been responsible for the death of many a hopeful sewing project (and maybe an actual murder or two, at least I have been close!) Thanks for your content, I enjoy it alot.
Wow, that's really scary :).... and I kind of have a fear of those big machines ... i did buy a small one, it looks like a toy a couple of years ago and i still haven't used it... if i can master it, i will try the bigger one, need to pull it out of storage and start playing with it :) thank you soooo much :) that makes me happy :)
@@GingerLolaMiniatures Pull it out , plug it in and just practice sewing a line up and down, up and down. Put a wash cloth in the pedal so it can't go very fast. You will absolutely love having this talent in your tool box.
Ok i will, it will definitely come in handy, i hate using glue for curtains, they don't hang properly, i have to force them into shape... i'm making curtains for the dreamhouse livingroom, i want them to work as well, so i'll pull it out :) wash cloth on the pedal.... thank you so much for that tip, that's one of the things i don't like about the big machines, the needle goes too fast .... thank you!!! if i get really good at the small one, i'll buy a bigger one :)
Happy New Year from Scotland 🏴 really enjoyed the video you found some great items 😊looking forward to many more thrifting and diorama videos…..wishing you health, wealth and happiness in 2025 😊
Look up above the nail and see if it's not a screw with something that you can unscrew it it'll untighten the needle make sure you put something under the nail so it don't fall down inside the machine that's what I'm thinking
Me too.... I searched online and didn't find much about it, it's over 50 years old :) it would have probably surprised me more if it was working, but i had to try it :) especially when it was 50% off :)
Oh my gosh... That gnome door!!!!!🥹❤️
Great thrift, fun finds!💯🤩👌🏾
Thanks so much :)
Hey girl, I like the clear vases for storage. They are visually appealing. Have a wonderful evening. ❤🏝
Thank you so much :)

True, it would have been easy to raise the height and would look great in Marilyn's condo :)
I really like the oval wooden piece. That'll make a beautiful table!
I hope so .... thanks :)
A couple of those oblong metal stands would've madea really cute base for a daybed.❤😊
Just got an idea to use plant labeling sticks to make an outdoor fence 🤔 think I’m going to try it
Cool...let me know how it turns out! :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
What wonderful treasures you found. I love the tall vases 😁
Thank you! 😊
I'm in the process of renovating a doll closet that I'll post on my channel. Hoping to find another or one like you grabbed to make a store though!
That's awesome, let me know when you're done so I can watch :) that would be great in a store :)
@GingerLolaMiniatures I will! 😀

I might try it in marilyns condo :)
happy new years ginger!!❤❤
Happy new year!!!
Im excited with the doll closet too. Hopefully you can return that broke sewing thing
No, they don't take returns, oh well, it was 50% off so i didn't lose a lot :) thanks so much :)
Happy New Year from Scotland 🏴 really enjoyed the video you found some great items 😊looking forward to many more thrifting and diorama videos…..wishing you health, wealth and happiness in 2025 😊
Happy New Year :) from Canada :) thank you sooooo much :) wishing you the same my friend :)
The sewing machine may need to be oiled.
I'm just glad it was 50% off :)
Do you ever buy dolls from the thrift store?
I used to, I have quite a few :)
Look up above the nail and see if it's not a screw with something that you can unscrew it it'll untighten the needle make sure you put something under the nail so it don't fall down inside the machine that's what I'm thinking
I will check it out, thanks for the tip!

Yes, I'm busy. But, let me grab some clothes and shoes and I'll be good to go!😜
Lol....that would be awesome!!
