I would have brought those white lantern looking things because they could’ve been disassembled and used for unique doors or even a small closet. Also, good idea to bring the Barbie arm (not the whole doll…Lol) to gauge sizing. Love the gold frame and art work which goes very well with your decor and it looks nice over the fireplace. I visit thrift stores once a month because the inventory wasn’t changing when I was stopping in every other week. Those cheese markers could’ve been used as food platters in the dollhouse or dioramas. Great thrifting. Thanks for sharing. PS. I’d love to see a video on organization for storing your items for building dioramas, dollhouses, decorating, etc.
I was thinking about the lanterns as accent wall pieces, or room deviders but can't remember i decided not to buy them, maybe it was the price.... but now i wish i did, they would make nice doors on a cabinet maybe even a table with glass over it....i went thrifting today and i forgot the barbie arm .... really needed it too :) that's what i'm going to do, keep track of the thrift stores and only visit them about once a month, i think there's enough thrift stores around me that i can still go thrifting every week :) i think the cheese markers weren't flat on the bottom, i think i'll be doing the organizing video sooner than later, it will make crafting go a lot easier, i'm a visual person but also hate clutter, so i need to find a way to mix both together :) thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
Loved the new look with the flower art above the fireplace. I've heard some of those glass paperweights are quite valuable. Have you ever looked them up just out of curiosity? I liked that little clock but thought it was too expensive. And I'm ALWAYS waiting for you to find a bell to ring to remind people to subscribe! Lol
thank you, i love florals, and it fits perfectly... i see the paperweights on facebook marketplace for about $25 ... the clock was cool but yes too expensive, i did find old watched at a garage sale last year i want to turn into clocks ... will do that soon :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
There are so many videos that show their doll accessory Temu hauls or make it mini hauls, which I can't do or afford. This is why I love your channel, so thanks a bunch, you're right up my alley!
awesome! that makes me happy.... because i love thrifting .... i'm the same, rather see thrifty hauls instead of those temu or etsy hauls....thank ou sooooo much for watching and commenting :) inspires me to keep thrifting :)
i liked the marble coaster, but heavy....the cheese markers were cool but they weren't flat on the back and the price was definitely too high, i try to stay under $10 budget when i go thrifting...unless i see something fabulous :)
@@GingerLolaMiniatures Me too! I have to be selective and plan only one room at a time now. But I love seeing what you find and the ideas you have. Even things for yourself. I'd love to see how you keep organized as I am working on my own organizing for the dolls and crafting stuff. I could use some ideas! Especially for small spaces.
i'm thinking of doing the organization video sooner than later, it will definitely help when i craft.... just need to figure out how i want things organized, plus i need to do some purging, i have a huge bowl full of beads and haven't used any beads from it, even if i just keep half and sell the other half, i'll still have plenty and will take up less room.... i'm having a garage sale at in a couple of months so purging things i don't use will help, i really like a tidy place :)
Awesome! We are planning out a purge here too. My daughters and I will have a yard sale. Out with the old so we can go yard sale-ing for the new! Can't wait to see what you do
I want to go to your thrift stores! Such awesome stuff. ❤ I wish I could go thrifting at least once a week but I go whenever I get the chance as I have to travel 30 minutes away to go.
Great music and no one else is doing what you are doing with Thrifting and the whole bringing us to the thrift store for minis and 1/6 scale is just so great. No one is doing it. I’ve tried to find it !! keep it up! Great channel
That's cool, thanks so much :) going thrifting again this week, these videos are giving me a great excuse to go often, i want to visit stores i haven't been to yet, that's not too far :) thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
I like Goodwill, i would love to go once a week, i went to garage sales tody and it was a bust, i think i have better luck at thrift stores, but prices are definitely better at garage sales .
Another round of great thrifting. I thought for sure you would take that bamboo covered box at Value Village. It was the same as the tables and cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. It was in the beginning of your video. It would make a great hamper or something.
Hi I’m a new sub I build house dioramas and I’m about to start doing shop ones. Your thrift stores are huge compared to our little charity shops here in Scotland and you have such a great variety of items. I love going along with you on your treasure hunts it’s so much fun to see what you can find. My daughter lives in the U.S so I will have to visit a thrift store the next time I visit
Hi, thank you so much for watching, commenting and subscribing :) definitely bring an empty suitcase when you visit :) do you have garage/yard sales in Scotland?
It's really fun to go looking with you at the thrift-stores. I think you could make a part of a Barbie shop from those wooden boxes with little boxes in it in that plastic bag at the craft-section.(for a wall-closet with bags/shoes etc. I find lots of miniature stuff at my local flee-market (found a whole shopping bag full with Barbie furniture for 5 euro's last week:))and in the free exchange shop(I visit the free exchange shop every 2 weeks when I have a bag full with stuff I don't want any more) and always find miniatures and craft-material. Still amazed how expensive American goodwill stores are; prices here go from 50 Euro cents to 1,50 for the things I buy for my 1/6 scale doll-house. I store all the miniatures I have for one room in a transparent box. I also exchange collectible toy-stuff I don't want any more for Barbie ascesoires /miniatures and Barbie dolls in our local collectible shop(where you can sell, exchange or buy stuff)
Thank you so much, I love creating these videos :) so happy people are enjoying them, gives me an excuse to go more often. I have another thrift video on Saturday and a shopping for minis on tuesday :) wow, sounds like you have a lot of great shops... i really want to go to the flea market, i haven't been in years, will try to go soon. I'm in Canada and yes, our thrift stores are taking advantage of us ... the prices are crazy, it's garage sale season now, so i'm hoping i'll find some cool stuff :) thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
those mini salt and pepper shakers you could take off the tops put a dowel rod in them put a lamp shade on to and you have some matching crystal table lamps! you might even be able to make the top parts with the holes be scent infusers/ incense burners.
I know right, I thought of the crystal vases when i watched the clips during editing, but i also love the lamp shade idea :) urgh :) love the incense burner idea too :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
🙋🏾♀️ would love an organization video. I go to goodwills about once every 2-3 months and savers at least 1-2 times a month especially since i found out members get a discount on Thursdays
cool, i think i might do the organization video before my next project, everything is all over the place right now and will definitely make future projects run smoother :) i think i'm going to go to the same thrift store once a month, hopefully that'll be enough time to see all new stock... there's enough thrift stores around me that i think i can still go thrifting once a week :) really love creating these videos :)
You bought some really great finds!! ❣️ I really adore rhe paper weight you bought for yourself. I would love to see a video on organizing your miniatures.❣️ I also reallu love thise bags of bits you bought!❣️ The frame with your artwork is soooo beautiful!!❤
HI, yup, I did a craft room tour video a few weeks ago, its up on my channel ... tell me what you think :) Value Village is ridiculous, I'm loving Mission, they actually have items for $1 :) I only go to Value Village on sale days :)
Couldn't you have used those tiny divided boxes as bookcases against the walls? There were two in one bag. I thought they would have been perfect! And yes you should have grabbed the box of tiny round boxes with the clear tops!!
I think you passed those clear glass coasters too fast. Using decoupage on the back, they would make great flooring tile pieces. For the sorting video: yes. While there are many of these kinds of videos, not one is ever the same. You may use the same container but in a different way. So yes, make a video on your organizing your items.
true, but they were heavy, i have a lot of glass from old frames that could be decoupaged too, that's something i want to try.... i think i'll do the organizing sooner than later, it will make crafting go a lot easier :) thank you so much for watching and commenting :)
those Value Village prices make me sick! I live in Australia so as a rule it's basically double the US price to convert it to AUD and I wouldn't even pay the US price in Aus (as in US price is $5, converted to aus $10, but if it was $5 AUD here I wouldn't get it) for a majority of what you showed the price of let alone for the full converted price! madness!
i know, it's disgusting how much they charge, i wish people would stop donating to them, when i donate now, i go to salvation army or goodwill, they're prices are better, still more than they should be, but better :) i always find better deals at garage sales, wish we had them here all year long :)

So right about the square lanterns. Even just separated as wall panels.
Wall panels…I like that idea too!

i hope i'll see similar ones at garage sales, kicking myself now for not buying at least one :(
I had fun shopping with you today. Loved it.
Awesome! Thanks so much :)
Such great finds! I loved the little mantle clock. I think it would’ve looked perfect on your fireplace.❤️❤️
Me too! But the prices seemed a little high at that particular store.
i think the scale was just a bit too big, and the price definitely was :)
definitely too high :)

Ah! That makes total sense. Me too on the budget.
Great finds! I saw a white tiny elephant with a cart behind it that would be cute in a baby's room.
thank you :) i don't think i noticed that?
I’d love to see an organization video.
Cool :) thanks ... it will probably be soon, need to get my stuff organized, it'll make creating videos so much easier :)
I am in love with the music choices!!!! Wonderful!!!
Awesome, thank you so much :)
Those white lantern things, if they can be disassembled, could make great room screen dividers.
i was thinking a headboard or wall accent but i love the room screen dividers idea!....i wish i could grab everything!

ok :) thanks so much for watching :)
too many commercials

probably too heavy, maybe better as a table top... i think picture frame glass might be better for windows :)
