Jeff, Can you write the specific associated equipment you bought for the USB and optical ethernet connectio? Hub box and cable and small input connection from Amazon? Thanks
Do you know if you can connect a DAC to the fiber / usb hub and if so I wonder if this would be better or the same as i2s since the hub will be using fiber as the source (which is very clean) and converting it to USB? Or is the USB audio out of the 130 the only way to connect an external DAC if you want to use USB. The DAC I have requires a DDC as the two profiles of the i2s on the 130 are not compatible with my external DAC.
I think you are focusing on the wrong part of the product. Ultimately for us it’s the sound. Just glanced at the eversolo, the clock nor the power supply are in the same league, two things that create a very big improvement to sound. I also didn’t see a streamer only option in their line up, so maybe I missed something.
@@referenceanalog In my opinion, for a product that costs over 5 thousand dollars and supposed to be the pinnacle of the company's technological accomplish, to come with a 7-years-old operating system does not make sense to me :( Especially when similar product gives 98 percent of this capability and comes with a much more recent operating system at a quarter of the price.
@@moshezuhmihI guess for me the operating system is just a means to an end, something to build their user interface on top of. The functional components involved in the sound are much more important to me. End users are ultimately who decide if the product is worth the purchase or not though, so thanks for the opinion 😊
Can't wait to compare this to my Sonore products.

Awesome.
Pity they didnt make a DAC included version. Like this is too expensive for normal people.
The 150B would be the dac included version. This streamer I view as a product to put with the high end dac only offerings from other manufacturers.
Jeff, same screen as the RS150?
No, the RS130 is slightly larger and better resolution

As far as I know right now the usb optical connection is an input only. They have a separate USB for audio out and it isn’t optical.
It is based on old android 7 :(
Eversolo comes with Android 11
