In all seriousness, Twitter has probably sucked away hours of my God-given time that I could've spent writing a song, praying, watching anime, talking to my mom, etc etc etc. On Twitter, there are soooo many angry people who seemingly want to share their vivacious opinions due to either their low self-esteem or their lack of anything better to do. Every time I would open Twitter, I'd see some political trending topics about how Tr-mp or B-den or the Democrats or the Republicans are sooo freaking bad, or how such-and-such politcian is soooo bigoted/anti-american/evil/demonic/lying/stupid/clownish. And whenever I see negative BS and drama like that, I often feel anger and anxiety inside me. It is just pure dark energy. And yes, I realize that anger and fear can motivate people to action, to resolving the issues they're angry about. But when I read those gloomy and angry Tweets, I wouldn't be motivated to love my neighbor or do activist work or donate to the poor. Rather, I'd feel anxiety about the state of America, and sometimes hatred and loathing towards this unjust world we live in. Sure, maybe I'd repost some Tweets in hopes of spreading awareness about a political issue. And it is good to spread the word, if you feel like people need to hear your opinions. After all, I am sharing my viewpoint about Twitter as I write this. But with Twitter, the toll on my mental health was significant. And not only would I feel less happy after viewing the site, I'd also waste so much time, as I said earlier. Because Twitter (and other social media platforms) used to suck away all this time I could've spent on my goals, and my life's purpose, which is to glorify God and love others, among other things. So, is Twitter worth it for most people? I cannott say for sure. Some folks use it to promote their businesses or products or blogs. In that case, it has some real benefits. But for people like me, we likely have little to gain from using Twitter, considering the platform's the negativity and futile controversy. If you're looking for entertainment on Twitter, it might very well offer not fun and joy, but chaos, confusion, and anger about the depravity of its users. To obtain more wholesome entertainment, I suggest watching a movie or playing Minecraft instead. So when in doubt, don't Tweet.

I think this is a huge problem as this encourages people to avoid any politically related subject because people who are part of these communities are so dumb and arrogant. I personally avoid these posts so it doesn't give the algorithm any wrong ideas about the things I enjoy, but this shuts us from many important information. All this garbage negativity that pretends to be relevant is drowning all the things we actually need to know.

As an artist, I'd be genuinely honored if someone thought my OCs looked so silly that they made an entire mocking high-effort shitpost game for them. People on the internet take themselves far too seriously nowadays, I can very easily imagine an alternate timeline of events where this never had to become as big of a situation as it was, and everyone could've just laughed and had a good time together. Instead we got suicide threats, false accusations, doxxing, and everyone responsible for the actual crimes being committed getting to walk away with it scot-free and never being portrayed as bad or immoral by the larger scope.

In all seriousness, Twitter has probably sucked away hours of my God-given time that I could've spent writing a song, praying, watching anime, talking to my mom, etc etc etc. On Twitter, there are soooo many angry people who seemingly want to share their vivacious opinions due to either their low self-esteem or their lack of anything better to do. Every time I would open Twitter, I'd see some political trending topics about how Tr-mp or B-den or the Democrats or the Republicans are sooo freaking bad, or how such-and-such politcian is soooo bigoted/anti-american/evil/demonic/lying/stupid/clownish.
And whenever I see negative BS and drama like that, I often feel anger and anxiety inside me. It is just pure dark energy.
And yes, I realize that anger and fear can motivate people to action, to resolving the issues they're angry about. But when I read those gloomy and angry Tweets, I wouldn't be motivated to love my neighbor or do activist work or donate to the poor. Rather, I'd feel anxiety about the state of America, and sometimes hatred and loathing towards this unjust world we live in.
Sure, maybe I'd repost some Tweets in hopes of spreading awareness about a political issue. And it is good to spread the word, if you feel like people need to hear your opinions. After all, I am sharing my viewpoint about Twitter as I write this. But with Twitter, the toll on my mental health was significant. And not only would I feel less happy after viewing the site, I'd also waste so much time, as I said earlier. Because Twitter (and other social media platforms) used to suck away all this time I could've spent on my goals, and my life's purpose, which is to glorify God and love others, among other things.
So, is Twitter worth it for most people? I cannott say for sure. Some folks use it to promote their businesses or products or blogs. In that case, it has some real benefits. But for people like me, we likely have little to gain from using Twitter, considering the platform's the negativity and futile controversy. If you're looking for entertainment on Twitter, it might very well offer not fun and joy, but chaos, confusion, and anger about the depravity of its users. To obtain more wholesome entertainment, I suggest watching a movie or playing Minecraft instead.
So when in doubt, don't Tweet.

I think this is a huge problem as this encourages people to avoid any politically related subject because people who are part of these communities are so dumb and arrogant. I personally avoid these posts so it doesn't give the algorithm any wrong ideas about the things I enjoy, but this shuts us from many important information. All this garbage negativity that pretends to be relevant is drowning all the things we actually need to know.

As an artist, I'd be genuinely honored if someone thought my OCs looked so silly that they made an entire mocking high-effort shitpost game for them. People on the internet take themselves far too seriously nowadays, I can very easily imagine an alternate timeline of events where this never had to become as big of a situation as it was, and everyone could've just laughed and had a good time together. The craziest part about this situation you did not mention was that one of the people supporting Pipca and going after Chip, Gxku/NotGxku, was accused of grooming (and some other things I think), admitted to it immediately, and deactivated. So literally days after accusing Chip of sexual misconduct and celebrating his doxing, he gets exposed for things much worse then Chip ever did.
It was spectacular.
