We went many,many years ago with my niece. And yes I remember back then it was a weird combo of a salad bar type situation with different pickled meats, seafood and veggies and a choice between five entrees. Then dessert was a platter of assorted mini sweets. We had Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and Jasmine (not to show my age but this was before tangled or the princess and the frog)
And yes Todd that was a watermelon radish in your salad.

Thanks for taking us along, haven’t been to a meet and greet, since my son was a little thing. We went to Crystal Palace, both my son and myself are big Winnie The Poor fans.
I liked the different variety of princesses and the variety of food. Plus most importantly, the presentation! That can make all the difference, especially with a finicky eater ( my son was when he was a little boy! ).
Donna that is one of my favorite character dining experiences. Winnie the Pooh was always our youngest favorites as well. We had a great time it really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for joining us and we hope you are having a fantastic week.

We’ve had breakfast at “Achy Shoes” 3 times. Once with the original “Coldtbort” buffet, the others family style. It was all great! Laurie, Happy Birthday!! 🎉

Haven't dined there in ages. The buffet was fantastic and well worth the price. Maybe it's just me but I'm not a big fan of family platters (except for Liberty Tree Tavern); I much prefer buffets
Steven it was really good and the characters were fantastic. I might say I prefer buffet also. I just hate for all the food to mix. We hope you have a fantastic week
Thanks for the great video. We were there last year for breakfast. The food was great, the princess interaction was fantastic and breakfast was a little cheaper. The girls absolutely loved it and there was something to eat for my picky eaters.

We went for breakfast which the food we just didn’t care for. I think we only liked the cheese potato hash or something like that otherwise it was a waste and it was an all you care to enjoy but weird version. I will say though a family who wants to see princesses it’s a lower budget meal than going to Cinderella royal table. Happy birthday!!

Thank-you, friends! Lots of fun! We used to have similar at DCA. I don’t know if you ever went to that restaurant, right past the gates to Pixar Pier. I took a friend, a fussy elderly gentleman, and he was very unhappy to be around a million mini-princesses…until the real princesses came out! We got the most beautiful photos, and the princesses are, well, princesses! I think I would like to try Akershus when David and I come over in August.
Actually the only in park places in Disneyland we ever ate was Blue Bayou and Carnation Cafe. You guys have fantastic quick service locations. Let us know when in August we would love to see you guys again. Thanks for traveling around and being part of our traveling family
