Oh yeah. We let it go where we found it (in my back yard) after spending a few minutes with it. I hope I get to see it again one day, a little more grown!
Hi again!! I’m great, thanks! How are you? All the critters are good, I can’t give reptile shows right now cause of the pandemic so they’re all just taking a looong break!
Your vid of you booping Waffle in the sandbox pops back up in my feed every now and again. Always amusing to watch. ^.^ Not to take away from what you are doing now, but how has your little crew been doing?
Everybody’s great! With the virus going on, I haven’t been able to give any reptile shows yet this year, so they’re all just chilling fat and happy at home napping the days away.
I don't see why people hate snakes, sharks, and bats... They're just animals, living life, doing normal animal stuff. Bats are cute, fluffy little cinnamon rolls. They don't attack people as far as I know.. And they aren't evil. Sharks are just big fish with lots of teeth. Its very unlikely for a shark to attack a person, much less go near one. Snakes are cute noodles. They aren't evil, or bad. They only attack humans if they are defending themselves or if they are big enough, hungry. I could just rant about more misunderstood animals (Bears, Wolves, etc. ) but its like..4 in the morning and I'm tired so-
Omg! You are so right!!! (I don't hate snakes , sharks and other animals but they scare me a little thought.) They are so cute! Baby snakes are adorable! I had a shark pet (ones that don't grow) it was so cute . İt would look at me and when I poked the glass(the thing it is in it is very big one) my baby shark would boop it is nose to glass . İt was so adorable .
WOAH I would NOT have gotten that close to a baby cotton mouth! I guess you know what you’re doing but those little bastards can be pretty aggressive...
I’ve never experienced aggression- also they’re defensive, not aggressive- the difference here is important. Aggression means attacking without provocation, defensiveness means we are making the snake feel the need to protect itself from a threat (the human). I wasn’t within strike range of the cottonmouth but it also wasn’t in a defensive posture. 100% of the cottonmouths I’ve ever found do their best to escape from me before assuming a defensive posture.
South Georgia near the Okefenokee Swamp! If you want to find snakes, head out just before dark and cruise slowly down country roads. You’ll see em crossing eventually!
Come to the mountains of PA in the spring. These snakes are damn everywhere. I remember one year when I went to the mountains, there was a snake literally every 10 feet.
You can hike in suitable habitat to look for snakes, but you can also slowly cruise country roads just before dark and then into the night to find them crossing. I try to look for rural roads with water nearby. Eventually you’ll find some!
Dogs puppies:I'm the cutest
Kittens:no I'm the cutest
Baby sneaks and crocs:amateurs
I love how feisty was the last snake you showed!
You could totes tell by its breathing that it wasn't happy about the situation

Nice finds, good to see a vid from you. Gotta say, I like the little ones, they have more vibrancy and patterns than adults a lot of the times.
Thanks dude! I have a tendency to take long breaks from my channel. 😆 But yeah I love finding juvies! I’m partial to cute things haha
Im so happy you are still posting! Hope you have been doing all right. :)
Thank you! I am, absolutely. I started a new naturalist job back home in Georgia a few months ago and I’m loving being outside so much!

Me: getting attacked by a fly
Really nice finds!
Thanks! 😀
Imagine you lived somewhere where you could just *pick up* random snakes you found... Here in Australia you'd be dead so fast.
Well, that’s why you don’t pick up any snake that you can’t identify! I know exactly what is venomous and nonvenomous where I live.
why are these snakes so cute I just wanna squeeze them even tho im tariffed of snakes
Jenny, you're back!!!!
I’m baaaaaack!
So smol

What region are you finding all these snakes? I live in North Florida and never see any snakes, just lizards and frogs

Why do you hate them?
Honestly I'm afraid about them so I prefer they stay away from me, but I don't hate, I think they are beautiful and smart!
But they're so cute!
