I have not got the same device care as shown. I do not have Performance Profile. Are there different settings dependant on which phone you have? I somehow mange to have three bars at the bottom of the screen rather than the old style "buttons". How do I get them "buttons" back?
for the "buttons": swipe down --> open settings --> scroll til you find display settings --> go to display settings --> go to navigation bar --> change navigation style back to buttons hope that helped 🥰

@@keddidastinky I was just saying if they ever update there dang 2005 texting I would get a Samsung phone but I want to be able to send clear videos and pictures and play games with my family and friends and do a lot more thro iMessages and you can’t do nothing with android texting and dont no if you get a text or not I use to have Samsung and I know the way they are and my first iPhone is a 14 pro max and I can do so much more.

It's funny that samsung has gotten worse with the security patch with the s23 series, like s21 and s22 unlocked version non beta is on October security patch receiving November in a few month, like I remember getting montly updates consistently before the 15ᵗʰ but with s23 series it's been so inconsistent
They haven't. They're still the best on Android and have been beating even the Pixels for a few yrs now. It's a non contest. Everyone should be on the October patch atm. Are you on a carrier locked device? If not, then try looking around to confirm that it's the case in your region, or making a report on Samsung Members.
@Awaks I have the unlocked model, and I told you my s21 series and s22 series have been on the October security patch for a while while my s23 series have been stuck on the September update so its just Samsung has been inconsistent with newer device

You have to enable the edge panel which you can then add the smart select options to.

if you're getting anywhere near 8 hours or more it's good battery. You can use modes and routines to get rhe extra juice

You'll get a prompt update notification like you normally do. Just download it, and you'll get the final stable version.

You cam set custom orders for albums, drag and move the albums whetever you want. I hope that's what you want.

I created my own dark mode theme. Problem solved.
samsung made it intentionally gray so youre not looking at a super high contrast screen all the time
