Still don't understand why Auburn didn't get the BCS bowl bid and LSU did despite the fact Auburn beating LSU during the regular season and holding the tie breaker over them.
I remember watching this game auburn beat Alabama 7 years in a row before they hired Nick Saban. This game I was rooting for Nebraska and my brother (Auburn fan) was going for Auburn.
He was around 80 years old and retired by this time - the Cotton Bowl was usually the only game he announced all year. He was out of practice but I am happy to cut a legend some slack. He was the narrator for countless NFL Sundays for me over the decades. RIP
Pat Summerall calling a college football game?!?!?
Now that was *RARE!*
I miss this college football ‘07 was the best year ever
The Golden Era!!!!!

Oh yeah they also gave Florida (the national champions that year) their only loss. Auburn got screwed plain and simple.
They only beat LSU 7-3
@@macgoldie7771 so?
@@danielgoss6367 😂we all UNC is not sniffing the CFB playoff
@@macgoldie7771 I fail to see how that explains why Auburn was screwed but sure just change the conversation
Three days later, January 4, 2007 the BIGGEST HIRES in College Football's history.

Do you by chance have the Ohio State-Arizona game from 2000? Thank you for all the uploads!
Yes, I've added it to my list
Seeing Neal Caudle on the sideline, I feel like he might have a part in AU winning a natty
Pat Summerall R.I.P
Thanks to a reeling Georgia team finished 8-5 over Virginia Tech in Chick Fil-a Bowl.
Listening to Pat Summeral is about as exciting as pissing my pants.
