a decade long domination in sprinting by the IMMORTAL usain bolt probably even greater than michael phelps achievement of 8 gold medals according to me.
@ellavorn raiponce I also think Bolt's feat of 9/9 gold medals is greater. Consider that this man does not know at all what losing means in the olympics and the bar that he set with the world records. Today we're seeing Phelps records being broken already. Of course Phelps is a great Olympian and easily the best swimmer of all time, but bolt has always had less than 10 or 20 secs, a blink of an eye, to win a gold medal, and he's done it 9/9 times. Incredible, and we can say with confidence what he has done on the track will never be repeated, ever!! Many already agree that Phelps individual records could be broken even before 2020 Olympics and they were right, just look at the swimming class this past world championship. Nah. Doping.
The greatest in this sport is always the one with the fastest time, no matter how long his career was. Gaitlin is top 5 or 6 all time. Blake is the second greatest.
100m at the Olympics is the prime event, Bolt won it 3 times in a row. Amazing, the GOAT of sprinters without any doubts or doping controversies.

They are no match for the 2010s guys 😂
I ... being Italian it seems like a dream for Jacobs
Usain Bolt was very confident in his skills, and Gatlin was very serious
because he is holding a record already. 9.58
@@nbaactionchanneltv6693the record was made 7 years prior.
"He's immortal now" always gives me goosebumps.
This man is amazing....he had a mediocre start then manage to sprint his way to the front and still found time to celebrate before the finish line. Wow! He's simply the best.
He’s Immortal Now…….still get goosebumps here in July/2021
Bolt is unbelievable. I have no words to describe his greatness and achievements.
Starts as a champion, leaves like a champion
We will miss you, Bolt!
I came back to watch this after the 2024 100m finals.....the race is nothing w.o the GOAT!!! What a Legend!!

This isn't near his best 100m
his best was his wr then the one where he slipped
I think 2012 final is soooo much better.
Is awesome to watch how he moves away from the other sprinters. Amazing run..
William Maldonado 2008 was the best tho
William Maldonado A
I remember watching this live back in 2016; the thrill I felt watching him overcoming his "sloppy" start and winning will never be forgotten.
I saw this on TV life; I remember yelling NOOOOO as Gatlin got in front then a high pitched YES YES YES YES as Bolt overtook him and then being ecstatic when de Grasse won the bronze
He is immortal now!!! Remember those words you Bolt haters!!! None before and maybe none to ever come after!!
there are no Bolt haters, you doofus

Proud Jamaican here! Still watching in 2021! He’s simply amazing. ❤️🇯🇲
Imagine how Gatlin must have felt seeing Bolt storming through at the last second.
Steve Rogers he wasn’t looking
😂
He's surely immortal now!! Well said💙
GOAT!!
a decade long domination in sprinting by the IMMORTAL usain bolt probably even greater than michael phelps achievement of 8 gold medals according to me.
As yet, no one has tasted Bolts victories. When someone lowers the 100 record below 9.58 and likewise 200, and can win gold perfectly for 12 straight years then call us lol
@@aimegizi5749 3 olympics are a period of 8 years champ, not 12
The British commentators are the best. "He's coming after him, he's immortal now." Lol. They are the best.
