I'm going to show you a quick gospel lick/chord progression. Even though it sounds advanced, it's straightforward for beginners to pick it up. I will show you exactly how to start from very simple chords and gradually embellish them until you get a lush, complex sounding progression. You will not only be able to play it in the end, but also understand why you play what you play!

No. A trill is the fast alternation between two adjacent notes, usually 1 or 2 semitones apart.
