I have learned so much from your wonderful informative videos. Thank you so much. I have felt very ‘alone’ dealing with this on my own and having stumbled across you a few months ago and slowly working my way through all your videos. Here in the UK we have nothing like this and my dermatologist, although excellent, hasn’t mentioned any of these things! I haven’t been asking the right questions😢 I am now using extra virgin coconut oil and the difference is amazing. From the bottom of my heart, huge thanks ❤
Aww, *hugs* it's my absolute pleasure. I remember feeling so alone and helpless in the beginning. No one teaches us what questions to ask; we learn in time. Stay tuned for the next video because we will talk more about how to stay in remission. Sending you so much love on your VLS journey.
I'd love to know what you did to lead to your remission. I couldn't find the video you referenced below that answers that. I was in remission I believe as my doctor said everything looked so good and improved and I went into a twice a week steroid application and it came back. I guess I need to go back to the protocol Dr. Jill recommends. Thank you for all you do!
My gynaecologist told me I have to use steroid fatty ointment for the rest of my life. I guess I need to trust her as I don't want to get vulvar cancer. I used the ointment every day for 8 weeks. Now she wants me to apply it every Monday and Thursday night. I live in Australia.
All that will be explained in part 2, next month! :) But if you want a sneak peak, I already have a video on this on my UA-cam channel -- The Lost Labia Chronicles -- the one next March will just build on that a bit
Hi! I (Jaclyn) am not familiar of any contraindications between budesonide and LS, so my best advice would be to discuss with your pharmacist or primary care physician. With love,

Here's the video on getting into remission. Hope it helps
What do you do to maintain in remission? Continue steroid cream? What frequency?

So this is not the most potent corticosteroids but the one under it i.e. potent. There are 4 classes. 2 of them mild and moderate.

Use the ointment not the cream. Don’t worry about thinning skin LS skin is very thick.
Just discovered your LS support group. Question will taking budesonide aggravate LS ?
