Also maybe 'Eternal Sunshine' cuz it's more of a bright/happy/fun song so you will see a different side to their music, and ofc not to mention 'Eternal Sunshine' is a really good song as well. I'm an EXO fan, but this is my favourite song in the whole world... I still remember I was repeatedly listening to this song like 70 times when I first found it... this song is still on the top of my playlist... I've requested you so many times, finally you reacted, now do one more thing, that is cover this choreography...
I really like the rhythm of this song, for me it's one of those songs that once it starts playing I can't stop dancing and enjoying it.
It's so interesting that you said you weren't so sure at first but that even just on a second listen you felt a little different about the song. I say that because I was watching another reactor a while back who upon first reaction to this song also wasn't so huge on it but by the time she edited and actually posted her reaction she felt *completely* opposite and it had become one of her favorites.
She mentioned that this particular song seemed to require a little "digestion" before she could really appreciate it. Or like it needed to marinate for a bit. I felt like those were good metaphors.
I felt the same way upon first listen. It was so weird. I definitely liked the song okay but I wasn't in love. Then one day I had it playing on the speaker in my kitchen and when it got to that first chorus I swear it was like I saw the light or something and I wanted to dance SO badly. xD There's something especially fantastic about that last chorus when all the electronic music kicks in and they have the breakdown with really interesting dance moves.
Would love to see you react to the dance practice for it. Of every Ateez dance practice that exists, the one for Say My Name is my absolute favorite. The MV is beautiful but by nature of what it is it just does NOT do their choreo justice.

I totally agree. The first time I listened to it, I thought it was an OK song, but that's it. And suddenly one day I had the urge to listen to it again, and I spent a week and a half in which I needed to listen to it at least once a day.
And for me too the magic of this song is the last part, it gives me goosebumps everytime, the way that they all come together with the music and the video flashing between Ateez and Halateez dancing is perfection to me.
Boy I need to tell u this ... whenever their is high note in ateez song ..just close ur eye and say jongho (the maknae nd the main vocalist)

I feel like this song production wise is a masterpiece. I LOVE THE BEGINNING INSTRUMENT ALOT SO BEAUTIFUL TO LISTEN TO. Its like a mixture of different music genres which kpop usually is but i just lovee SAY MY NAME.
Also since youre a dancer too i just learned this whole choreo its so fun but also has different choreo for each choruses and prechoruses TT i managed to learn all of it and while practicing it i kinda lightly injured my knee and ive been resting last 3 days :(

5:42 san is their vocalist and yes in hala hala and smn bht given the most iconic dance breaks and parts. So thats probably why people thought he's a main dancer when he's actually a lead vocal. And his vocal is very stable and beautiful too. If you listened more into their songs you would realize thay san sings a lot especially for the bsides.
And he and jongho often harmonize in all of their songs.

Like if now if someone dreamt of being on top they can make a difference and change the people in the bottom, like if they do a first move they might influence the others to also change for better or worst to make it to the top also.

This song is very good I like it a lot. I'm not atiny but I know their names and I've listened to their music and the first time I listened to them I was surprised by mingi's deep voice, their vocals in general, their raps , their performances and dances their songs are very good I really like it . They´re so good artists.
Certain parts remind you of hala hala it's because the order in which you're watching the videos is not correct if I'm not mistaken hala hala it came out after say my name.

It's pretty common for people to miss San's vocals since he often gets killing parts of the choreo. San sang the first part of each chorus for DejaVu and had an ad lib near the end. Answer really highlights his vocals.
