It´s because you are a moronic unemployed procastinator hanging on your mother´s wifi and you spend your life scratching your balls and eating cheetos. Simple like that.
I like diy/craft videos. In fact, that is what i do myself. So this video is very well liked by me. I think you are quite right that the dropping and picking up step is of the utmost importance to not skip. It may even be helpful to repeat it a few times with different tools and parts.
Is it weird that I watch your videos without actually playing any brass or even wind instruments? To be honest they are making me want to pick one up, but still, I love these videos. Keep 'em coming!
Go to hickeys and look at the leathers. Grips for the handslide, hand straps for ergonomics, neck guards/pencil holders for the finish by your neck. All you need.
I love blue abalone inlay. I have it on my bari sax (that's right I'm a woodwind player) but I had to buy new valve caps for my trumpet sas it's a 1947 getzen ultra deluxe and had mother of pearl instead of synthetic caps
Stephen Budders they can be both, usually you can even adjust this yourself. In Germany, most hornists choose to have it fixed(so the pitch when the valve is not presses) in Bb, elsewhere, it's usually fixed in F
Would do this to my cheap sax just cause but I’d need a hell ton of these bad boys in all different sizes plus my mess around sax also has bigger finger pearls then a regular sax does which will make it hard to find buttons in the right size and I really don’t wanna do this to my good sax since you know a few grand and real mother of pearl
Don't some buttons you can order come with the "casing" and screw parts, so as to not warrant the demolition of your old pearly buttons, so that you can switch them out whenever, etc.?
Yes, there are some that come with the entire button assembly - but you have to ensure the screw thread is correct and the button meshes properly with the top of the valve casing when pressed down.
I keep my standard white abeloney buttons on my YTR 6635g intermedian trumpet looks more pro the power shells looks cheap more and more cheap trumpeter from china comes with those abelony
I was looking about and is this the website you used to buy the Vincent Bach fake sexy trumpet? I just want to know if you trust the website because I don't want to get scammed
There's been a few time where people haven't sent what I've paid for, but in each time Aliexpress has gotten involved and I've gotten all my money back.
Sebastian Carlson if it's a cheaper instrument (I have a soprano that I play on the side besides alto) the glue isn't very strong. I took a credit card and shoved it in the corner of the button and pushed on it lightly and it popped out. I used nail glue on the new ones, it's stronger than whatever glue was on it previously lol
instructions unclear, got my mellophone stuck in a lamp
ClickBait Destoyer mellophone are lit lets go
@musicguy1799 Ever get it unstuck?
I forgot to drop mine. Do I have to buy a new set?
Fruzzinoid of course!! :D
2:30-3:30 is not required if you have a Besson, it will do this automatically over time.
Lol
I have no knowledge of horns/trumpets and have no interest in ever playing one
I still watch all of his videos and I have no idea why
It´s because you are a moronic unemployed procastinator hanging on your mother´s wifi and you spend your life scratching your balls and eating cheetos. Simple like that.
for some reason I love the fact that he never ever smiles.
his sarcasm is why i watch these
Is it raining? It's sounds very nice actually.
Yes, it was raining briefly. I normally use a microphone that doesn't pick it up.
ah yes, the "summer" really is amazing here in New Zealand at the moment.

was it just me or was the rain in the background quite soothing?

standard toaster Play trombone
LaValle Coleman I want to learn the euphonium, but they are so expensive so I think I'll try the trumpet
True, but i'd be lying if I said that you have to have a name brand instrument, but if that's what you want then shoot for it mate :)
You should be able to rent a good student horn for pretty cheep and then you can buy one if you stick with it.
SAME I play viola
Does this work on the trombone?
yes
probably no,too bling for a trombone,he'll get self-conscious and perform badly.
Works even better on trombone.
Only on A# trombones
How about ophicleide?
When you thought he was being serious so you accually dropped your valves on the floor
I just simply took a marker and color it. Easy!Piece of cake!☺
I love your channel, it's my favorite musician channel
I bought a 180#7bell NY model. It comes with customized finger buttons and gold slides and via wide caps I silver.Beautiful horn
Can you do a bling your trombone rendition of this please?
There is nothing to bling but the slide XD
Go to hickeys and look at the leathers. Grips for the handslide, hand straps for ergonomics, neck guards/pencil holders for the finish by your neck. All you need.
Will the work on a pocket trumpet???
Also your the most helpful brass channel EVER
It works on all brass instruments that have valves
Those things do look quite smart. If only I had a trumpet.
This was uploaded on my birthday
that's really cool... but I couldn't do that to my cornet... I'd be too scared
In the guitar making industry, we call this material "mother of toilet seat."
1:47 I knew I was forgetting something
the baritone size machine with the four clockwork(?) rotary valves and nickel silver (?) trim.
That was great! My cousin has been looking for ways to do this.
Looks nice. I won't be doing it on my trumpet though because it's from 1954, but still, I wouldn't mind doing it on a cheap-ish sort of a trumpet :)
it's raining
I love blue abalone inlay. I have it on my bari sax (that's right I'm a woodwind player) but I had to buy new valve caps for my trumpet sas it's a 1947 getzen ultra deluxe and had mother of pearl instead of synthetic caps
Buttons* not caps
"it's 2017 assuming you use the same calendar i do"
nope sorry man but it is 1965 for me lol like the video :)
My cornet is on loan do you think he'll get mad if I did it anyway 😂👌🏻
Cannonball uses semi precious stones on there trumpets/saxophones
McCoy Model Cars I wonder if its possible to buy stones and do the same with a saxophone
Remember the old days before super glue & thermoplastic glue. "Good old" shellac.
Such a good video Trent 😍 it
whats the song at the end?
Extremely helpful
Are double French horns in Bb or F by default?
They can be either. You can get double horns in Low F and Bb, and other double horns in Bb and high F.
Trent Hamilton what key without pressing the trigger?
Stephen Budders they can be both, usually you can even adjust this yourself. In Germany, most hornists choose to have it fixed(so the pitch when the valve is not presses) in Bb, elsewhere, it's usually fixed in F
A quick answer, most horns (like for school bands or orchestras) are in the key of F without pressing the trigger.
How much would it cost to get a trumpet piston valve replaced, just a single valve, there is an air leak in mine?
I'm a horn player and I just found out you can get abalone out on valve your caps and it looks amazing. But it also costs $250 which I do not have :'(
He's back
not all trumpets have those white thing and mine happens to be one of those with just metal valves
This man needs to review a conch horn
Is there any way to keep the original ornament?
JMG_99 I don't think so
JMG_99 The pearly bit, you mean? Use the vinegar, as he suggested
the vinegar will eat it away
You can try heating the backside of the cap carefully, and it might pop out
Buy the entire button replacement instead of just an inlay.
What is the "name" of the trumpet you were doing it on?
can you make a viedeo about Trombones vor 10$
does this work on a marching snare?
asking for a friend
Dominic LaSalle yes but you must drop the finger buttons at least 7 times
Don't some buttons you can order come with the "casing" and screw parts, so as to not warrant the demolition of your old pearly buttons, so that you can switch them out whenever, etc.?
Yes, there are some that come with the entire button assembly - but you have to ensure the screw thread is correct and the button meshes properly with the top of the valve casing when pressed down.
Do they make these for euphonium?
bigger ones for tubas?
I keep my standard white abeloney buttons on my YTR 6635g intermedian trumpet looks more pro the power shells looks cheap more and more cheap trumpeter from china comes with those abelony
New camera?
am i the only one who gets triggered whenever someone hammers a screwdriver
EpicMeh lol
I only get triggered when I use my F attachment.
Kevin Clare that is perfect 👌🏻 😂
get it! TRIGGERED! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA...............
My Yamaha trumpet has solid valve caps. :( No bling for me.
Fancy.
PLS PLS PLS PLS TELL ME WHAT THE MUSIC OF UR INTRO I LOVE IT !!!!
An extract from "Grand Choeur Dialogue"

I was looking about and is this the website you used to buy the Vincent Bach fake sexy trumpet? I just want to know if you trust the website because I don't want to get scammed
There's been a few time where people haven't sent what I've paid for, but in each time Aliexpress has gotten involved and I've gotten all my money back.
Do they have this for Euphonium or Tuba?
Adam L. Unless you have a special euph or tuba they usually just have brass valve buttons
Samplehorse my baritone has finger button but my tuba doesn't
Why don't you do anything with horn?
Because I don't have one. I'm working on sourcing one.
I look forward to seeing it... Keep up the good work.
I don’t think I should do this with my schilke...
could I do this with saxophone too?
Sebastian Carlson Yes
Nick Ries how do i get the pearls out then?
Sebastian Carlson if it's a cheaper instrument (I have a soprano that I play on the side besides alto) the glue isn't very strong. I took a credit card and shoved it in the corner of the button and pushed on it lightly and it popped out. I used nail glue on the new ones, it's stronger than whatever glue was on it previously lol
My cornet has no inlays of any kind the “finger buttons “ are flat and plain gold brass
Buy an entite finger button with an inlay
It's prenonced aa-bb-o-low-nn
LOl Eboloney its pronounced Eh -bun-e
Purchase yourself a pocket trumpet and do a review 😜
if you don't drop it on the floor it doesn't work.
