i use this for over a year and it works really good, i was tired of cheap phone mounts, and glad i trow that money on this mount, i do not know how the vent mount works, but i tend to belive this company make good quality
Every car is different. I bought the version that mounts on the vents and didnt like it too well. Going to exchange it for this because CD slot on lexus rx350 far from nav screen and only blocks a little of the cd player. Thanks for the video.

Do you know if the metal plate in your case would interfere with wireless charging?
I do not know.
For wireless charging the metal plate is recommanded to be mount in the inferior part of the phone avoiding the center of it where the wireless receptor is.
How do I get the thing out?
How does the little bracket fit in? The brackets are terrible for that

Does your mobile phone fall out and end up under your brake pedal if you accidentally eject a CD while it's inserted?

How do you put the magnets on the phone?
Between the case and the phone. (Inside of case)
I need to use both of the magnets or just one? I have two, big and small.
By using more than one magnet allows you to connect to any back part of the phone so you can put one on the top and one on the bottom.

I LIKED mine until recently. I've had mine for about 6 months now and I have used it a lot. However..... I have noticed that where that the ball joint area has gotten very weak and so when I put my phone on it, it just dangles. It was fine through my last trip over the holidays. Then I don't know what happened. I don't often move the positioning. Nothing has cracked - it's just loose. And there is no other way to tighten that part of the unit. So, I just purchased a different brand (Scosche) to replace this. We shall see. I guess I'll just hot glue the ball joint into place for now. Disappointing.
What about case my case is not magnetic
Put the magnetic plate between the back of the phone and inside part of the case. That should work.
How to remove this from the cd slot?
You can't get it out? Should be able to release the piece on the mount to then remove it.

I would gather it depends on the case.
This works with any otter box even defender case 👌🏽
