Cheers. Ive got a fisher and Paykel and old mate in another video said the resistance should be about 33 ohms, mines reading 39 so guessing hes likely correct about that brand.

my drain pump has 3 pins. measuring with the multimeter yields a short circuit. is this intended?

That wire connector for pump should have positive and negative connection? My show power on both( is is short circuit somewhere or that is normal??
