Washing machine not draining water? In this video, we show you how to use a multimeter to test if the drain pump is faulty.
If you find that your washing machine isn't draining water as it should, there's a good chance the drain pump is no longer working and needs to be replaced. However, figuring out if this is the case isn't always easy. That's why we're here to run you through the process of testing a drain pump with a multimeter to determine whether or not it's stopped working properly and needs replacing.

    Cheers.
Ive got a fisher and Paykel and old mate in another video said the resistance should be about 33 ohms, mines reading 39 so guessing hes likely correct about that brand.

I am based in the US and I suppose the difference in voltage with the UK makes a difference. My perfectly new and working drain pump was showing 15 omh
