THIS VIDEO : My a photo journal, The early years.
This is a compilation of photos ranging from the years 1976 - 1985. The years of my family before my father went to prison.
Pictures are amazing in the way they can hide things as well as in the way they show things. You can see my progression as a little girl, where I start to become “less there” ..Distant in the pictures, I cut my own bangs off & i was starting to get lost.
The very last part of this video shows a clip of my father at Stinson Beach, I follow that picture with a short clip of my children playing on that same beach.
The next part of my series will be about the court trials and then life after court. .. this will lead into my preteen years, my teenage years, and my years as a young adult.
The only thing I ever read that compared to the life I had, was a book called “A Million Little Pieces”. I ended up finding out that that book was a fake.
Well, ...the insanity of my life : the trials, the coming-of-age, the reckless abandonment of anything... and how I survived all of that to have a healthy outlook on life & to except the lessons it teaches (eventually) in a positive outlook.
