I have one project that you started at one point that I can’t wait to see finished when you get the time, and that is your BD-1 droid. That was looking so cool!
I'm supposed to be working. I managed to resist clicking to watch this for about 5 seconds (I'll work it up later). As to the person who wanted to get into making but doesn't have a 3D printer. You can do a LOT with wood. 3D printing is great for tiny detailed things that you want a handful of identical ones but wood is a wonderful material, not too expensive, and relatively easy to work with, lots of cheap tools available. Most of my projects I make out of wood.
I always looked at 3D printing as being for anything I can't physically walk into a store and buy (customised items - for whatever purpose - or small, delicate parts); in my late teens/early 20s, anything of that need was usually made from (ever-so-slightly toxic, back then) dental acrylic and files and sandpaper to refine the forms. Nowadays, 3D prints are very handy for creating your own greeblies; a bit of print time, some silicone, and some resin, and a library of your own greeblies isn't that far away.
@@MrUnicorn44 While 3D printing can be used for nearly anything it excells at the smaller end of making. People have 3D printed full size Daleks but they're more often made from wood or fiberglass. If you want hundreds of a thing you could 3D print them all but it would usually make more sense to make a mould of the thing (possibly 3D printing the master or the mould).
I’m so glad you are continuing the podcash episodes !!! It was also fantastic seeing your miniature tool bench on the big screen. I can’t wait to see the diorama unfold, it is a great theme. I too collect in similiar fashion. I prefer the 6” figures due to increased details. And I usually only get the characters I prefer…and one day I hope to have a way to display them. The other half of them were purchased to make as diorama gifts for family members who also love the same sw characters and movies/shows. And I dig the paint and glue carousels
Keep plugging away at it and you will eventually see the other side. I picked up that same Ned- b on clearance at target. he is sitting on a shelf out of the box waiting for me to do something with him.
@@trytofinishsomething Oh yeah! Trying to get ready for comicon, get a wall of my room done, finish my IG-12/Grogu project, and decided to do another diorama.

Thanks Garland … most of the people I know would be shocked (not in a good way) to get a figure display from me!!
Love me some Podcash! Thanks for another fun video, sir!
Thanks Shawn! Just needed a break and thought I would do something I knew I could finish!

Mine will get a home soon!!!
What? Multiple projects, procrastination? Noooooooo. And after my YT break, back to one of my many projects. 😂
So you feel my pain!?!

Wow, your "worst boss" story is from radio. That's so weird!
Like I said … you and I could do a whole episode on nothing but that!
