Also, we turned the power washers "power" down way low (hold your hand in front of it and it wouldn't hurt). It wasn't full throttle. it was just a tad bit more powerful than your hose at the house.

If you get water or any other liquid in your air intake, vacuum system, or electrical systems, you're running the risk of ruining your car. Tape it off and cover the sensitive parts, VERY WELL.

Is the car running while u spray it with water? Or did u turn it off after u applied degreaser?

Didn't say to do this every day! Once in a while when you really need to shouldn't be hurting the car.

you should have at least coveted the alternator, battery and fuses with a plastic bag first. I would not use that much pressure. A rinse with a garden hose with your finger over the end would be all the pressure I would spray on an engine. Also I would not do this while the engine was running. I would wait until it is cool enough to place your hand on the engine but not totally cold. Wait an hour or so after the car has been driven.

In addition to spraying degreaser everywhere and then using a pressure washer - don't spray armor all directly on to the engine- if that stuff gets on your belts you'll be sorry.

Glad they left the video up so people could atleast see what they're buying. you're spraying a solvent all over electrical component's and shit. you should be wrapping quite a bit under the hood with plastic wrap. did you do this with the car running too? hopefully you're just a salesman and not a mechanic, either way you should lose your job

U guys are stupid this will kill the car u should cover this and that nothing will happend to the vehicle besides having a clean engine bay. i wouldnt leave the car running when applying the degreaser I'll let it sit for a bit then add the degreaser he did nothing wrong, I've clean my engine bay frequently on all my cars and i never Never had a problem cars will always start up every time what i do it make sure everything is sealed up properly connected and clamped so no water or chemicals go into the engine also depending what vehicle u might have i will take a different approach like carbs I'll plug/cover them and avoid aiming the hoses over it, distributors also too much water can prevent spark and the engine will not turn over so either cover it or just don't hit it too much everything else is fine alternators u could hit with water nothing will happend just get a rag and dry off as much of the water possible
