Randomly popped up on my feed! We have been a few times, and I am consistently around 43 seconds, which is usually one of the fastest times of the day. I genuinely do not know how to get any faster... A 39 is dream land! I have been told that longer sessions help the tyres and track warm up, and also Summer is better for it too, but I am not sure.
@OTH89 Winter is 100% better, fastest times are in Jan/Feb. Thus is due to the track being too grippy in hot conditions. Longer sessions will help in winter as the track temp will increase
Hi, have you got any tips to get a quicker lap time around this track becasue my best time is a 42.3 and i have been 3 times and i really want to get into the 41's and the 40's
Hey, most drivers at Coventry have a good racing line as its easy to follow. To get lower times its learning how and when to brake. It's different for everyone, you just need to find your style. For me, I use the brake to rotate the kart initially, then straight back onto the power before you even hit the apex. Rental karts are heavy so you can get away with this.
@@jjhalo54321 Thank you and i also have a youtube channel, i post some of my karting clips on there. Thanks for the tips my top time is a 42.3 and its the 3rd time i have been.
@@jjhalo54321 hi, i used your tips and i have finally broke into 41.9. Also i took part in a bikc race yesterday and went from 8th to 6th. Also have you got anymore helpful tips.
I think you might be able to improve your time at the bottom of the ramp as it’s quite wide so you may be able to get on the power earlier than normal, I’ve never been to cov tho but i think it’s worth a try
@ like i said mate, I’ve never been to the cov one, but if you take the ramp wider you can apply more power and already be in position for the next turn
@@JustMadzone As a top 17 lap driver, the wider line at the bottom of the down ramp is extremely slippy, you can see a 'metal' bar in the floor which is basically gripless and this creates spins.

My pb is 40.5 but I don’t usually do rental as I’m am a 2 stroke owner driver
@@jjhalo54321 Are you lifting off at any points on the circuit?
are you staying on throttle when you are flicking the kart in?
@elitesennabubble Braking at the initial turn in to help rotate the kart. Then instantly back on the power through the rest of the corner.

he’s the second fastest guy there after a worker bro 😭
@@dripsyy_btw like i said, never been to cov before, idk the stats, just saying something i think could help him be faster
@@JustMadzone He is top 3 fastest and if you go wide at the ramp you lose too much time
