Got him in my blood when Move It hit the juke boxes in the late 50's early 60's. Also 72 now. The band caught my ear more than anything I had ever heard.

Cliff Richard, the last British rock and roll pioneer. Treated abysmally by the establishment, ignored by radio stations, do we really have to wait till he’s passed on before the uk gives him the true recognition he deserves? A class act for over 60 years.
I had photos of Cliff in my bedroom when I was young, one day my mum took them down. My mum was always a big fan of Hank. Lol.
He is 80 but he still as he is in the 1960's very versatile in singing.

Met Cliff at the stage edge gave him a box of malteasers, as a 6 year old in Bournemouth 1963 Winter Gardens. he was like this as I remember him, my Motther love him x I also now love Cliff, since that day. seeing him again in Bournemouth 2021..58 years later.

And I forgot to mention his collaboration with his wonderful back musicians the Shads. And his professionalism enabled him to live his passion till nowadays. It's a major feat.
They sing...they play!!!! And we can notice they are enjoying and making the crowd happy. That's it!
What a fine group of people The Shadows and Cliff were/are, down to earth but very talented, they really worked well together. Cliff has sure lived up to his song Bachelor Boy., as far as I know he is still single at 80!

I saw Cliff and The Shadows at the Forum in Liège, Belgium, on the 8th of May 1964. An excellent performance that I still watch from time to time on the belgian TV archive site.

I have love Cliff Richard since I discovered his music in 1976 with Devil WOman... I grew up listening to Elvis, my moms favorite singer along with Jim Reeves ang Bing of course and Sanatra, Dino etc... I think Cliff is my fav British singer of all... I did not discover his Move It (first hit) until after the internet and UA-cam became available. Great artist and is the same for the Shadows... Hank B Marvin is an awesome guitarists to in his own right...
