And the box art was surprisingly also Russian: it's a reference to a painting called "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan" (usually known as "Ivan the Terrible kills his son") by Ilya Repin.
I don't think that this jam is for like eating on a toast, but to put in in your tea, it is a thing they do in Russia. My grandmother who lived near the Russian border used to drink very strong tea sweetened with different jams, like strawberry or apricot.
You could also make a lemonade or add this to milky desserts like ice cream, yoghurt or soft cottage cheese! It's also traditional to eat it neat with some tea as a separate dessert.
