Hi guys! this is a College Week in my Life vlog at Virginia Tech :) These videos are super easy to film, so expect a lot of them- still trying to figure out how to sit down film in the dorms. All the Starbucks in Blacksburg are bomb😂 y’all fr have the best food for a school cafeteria Ive edited this so many times but I keep forgetting things🤦🏼♀️ the best sports to watch are volleyball, football and basketball.

Omg I live in Va (about an hour and a half away from Tech) and I used to go to Hokie games all the time! Campus is so beautiful and I graduate high school soon so it is a relief to be able to watch someone so relatable and realistic!!

There is a Starbucks down from Zaxby's in Blacksburg! Right up from Surge building if you're in need :) You could walk there from campus. Blacksburg resident here ;)
Claire Adomeit to be fair zaxbys is kinda far plus freshmen can’t have cars on campus
Freshman can have cars on campus
biblicalex it’s not far. You just walk past the moss arts center and past the zaxbys and it’s around the corner. It’s especially easy if you take the bus to squires. I walked that all the time my freshman year as a ton of my classes were in squires

just some advice i've switched colleges 3 times and majors 4 times and if you're thinking about switching majors do it ASAP bcus you don't want to get behind on your courses for the new major and have to start over
considering VT when i go in 2 years and just signed up for a prospective students tour today!! this video makes it seem like it’s everything i want in a school!

Ahh, I miss VT. Graduated in May :( if you have to take a class like World Regions or the Wine class I would definitely take Boyer. He's the man.
you should invest in a faster lens. Use a 35mm 1.8 or 1.4 and you will get super smooth backgrounds for your videos filmed in the dorm! Then all of the background distraction will just be blown into smooth bokeh. Nice to see such a big youtuber at tech, I am a senior in CPE right now, lived in Miles hall my freshman year. If you need any other technical filming tips feel free to hit me up!
