The prices for Creed fragrances are ridiculously high. I absolutely love Creed Wind Flowers and only got it because I found it for 50% off but still paid over $200 for it. My bank account is now on vacation.
Never worth it to pay full price for Creed.
I need to know WHY are full bottles of Creed $293 for 75ml at Harrods and $545 in USA?! for sure waiting for Harrods. I will glady pay the $40.00 shipping lol.

Wind flowers is so pretty from how I remember it someone sent me a sample and I really liked it until I looked it up and seen its tag.

Carmina snatched my purse this past fall, and I promised myself I wouldn't let Creed keep doing me like that. It's unhealthy.😂

I plan to buy with Giftcard sales at NM or I will check Bloomingdale’s since they often have fragrance sales. Saks has 15%off once a month, but honestly…that ain’t enough 😂😂😂
I’ll have to wait for a deep deep discount I refuse to pay $545.00, I got my Creeds at a deep deep discount, these companies have lost their damn minds with these prices. I can think of a lot more to spend my $545 on, I haven’t bought a fragrance at full price in years so I’ll wait LOL, Thanks for sharing Sharida!
When it came out, I purchased Carmina from Harrods and even with the high shipping fee I still saved quite a bit of money.
I personally won’t purchase Creed outside of an official retailer because no other fragrances are counterfeited to the same degree but obviously plenty of people have acquired the authentic product from trustworthy discounters.
I’m not sure that Delphinus will sell very well for Creed. Queen of Silk may be overly strong to be a mass appealing feminine offering and Delphinus may prove to be too feminine for a masculine release. I guess time will tell.

Creed is always a hit or miss house for me! I’m so happy you shared your thoughts on these new launches. I fully trust your nose. 🤗 I also agree that 500 and something dollars. It has to be groundbreaking.

Delphinus is 🔥 but I paid 520 for Guidance 46 and that was worth EVERY DIME! As much as I like Delphinus, I am not sure if I think it is worth 545

I went the Creed counter and got a couple a samples which helped me decide. Centaurus for me. I’ll get the smaller bottle during the holidays and put in After pay or Affirm 😀
I love patchouli, but I didn't pull that. I get cinnamon red hot candy with a little tobacco.❤ I'm in love, but I will wait for discounters! 🤗I'll baby my sample til then. Thank goodness it doesn't come across as I'm wearing a man's perfume on my skin.

Yeah the patch was SUPER STRONG on my skin and I see almost no one mention that, so most people are not getting it. So glad I sampled it first. Now this Delphinus I NEED! Harrods has full bottle Creeds at $293!!! I will be waiting for them to stock it. Why on earth are they charging the US so much more is insane.

So far, the only two creeds I think are full price worthy are Carmina and Queen of Silk. The others are nice, but not worth the $400 and $600 price tag
Luckily, I got an opportunity to sample both and I completely agree with your review. I would love to have a full bottle of Delphinus in my collection but not at that price.
Delphinus was beautiful on skin but it only lasted 4hrs. I hope that was because it’s new - not worth the price if that’s the typical performance.
Iris/orris/powdery is my jam! PDM Athalia is one of my FAVORITE Iris fragrances. That one seems interesting, but theirs no way ima pay that much for a fragrance. Unless I can get it for less than half price it can just stay with creed lol. I own MANY niche, but the prices creed are asking for 😂 I refuse to pay it. They can smell good over there lol!

I LOVE Delphinus. I decided to blind purchase it but while I’m waiting to receive my bottle, I received an unexpected sample in the mail and let me just say this;I can’t wait to receive my actual bottle this week. Delphinus is sexy. Far better than Queen of silk in my opinion.

The only Creed Fragrance I’ve ever loved is Windflowers and I still don’t own it! This is worth a sniff at the department store but these price tags are outta control 😅
I love Centaurus
I get a free 10ml decant of my choice when I pre-ordered Delphinus.
I’ll probably get the Centaurus.
Scents like Tabacco Vanille, Oajan and Angel’s Share were surpassed by Centaurus imo. The best out of the thick almost gourmand tobacco genre is Vanille Havane and I still like Centaurus better now.
I did not like Royal Tobacco by Amouage at all.
Creed Delphinus smells similar to Gisada platinum, both have an airy, powdery vanilla smell, that being said Delphinus smells much better especially on the dry down. Also it is unisex.

Ok you got me at patchouli, I might like Centaurus. I struggle with iris so I need to sample Delphinus.
I’ve been buying creed for a while now. Smells luxurious. Overtime it can get pricey. But if you appreciate the scent that separate you from other competitors. You’ll not be disappointed. Creed quality speak for itself.

There are quite a few Creed fragrances I'd like to try but I will only ever buy samples because it doesn't matter how much I like a fragrance, I'm NEVER going to pay over $500 a bottle. That's just insane. That is the cost of a month's rent for some people.

Hi Sharida .. I bought the Carmina by pure pressure at the macys in NY the vendor definitely got me !! 😅 I don’t hate it or truly love it .. I think what I liked was the cherry 🍒 note but it also reminded me of Delina .. Idk I’m stuck with it now. I do spray it once per month.

I haven't smelled either, but Delphinus sounds very much up my alley so I might get a decant to try it out. But even if I ended up loving it enough to want a full bottle, I would 100% wait for it to hit the gray market because Creed always does. I just can't think of a good reason to pay more when I can simply wait and pay less honestly.

I have smelled Creed Aventus for men, and it is a beautiful cologne. It makes a great impression. I remember smelling it on someone and had to ask what it was. I have never owned any of their perfumes. But I have definitely been interested in the women's line. I don't like masculine fragrances on me and do not like too much Patchouli, so Centaurus is not for me.
But perhaps I will try a sample of some of the others.
I love both fragrances and if I had unlimited income I would buy both and my husband and I could wear them! But immma wait for a discount because that price tag?!?! Oh no baby! Hahahaha

Upon smelling Delphinus I just had to preorder it. The Iris-heliotrope-vanilla is gorgeous. This fragrance layers extremely well with white floral dominant scents. Today I wore Delphinus with Sampaquita by Ormonde Jayne, which was true chef’s kiss.
The incense smells more like a boswelia resin (frankincense) that has not been lit, as if you’re smelling the incense itself opposed to a smoke trail in the air. For myself the opening is not at all smokey and strangely I kept getting wafts of a clean soapy smell in the sillage. While I was in Nordy’s, multiple other individuals caught this clean and fresh effect off of me as well. All the while up close the scent remains an amber floral for certain. I’m just presuming that Creed utilized a captive synthetic in this fragrance which creates a very unique sillage. Anyhow back to the opening, I adore the almondy hedione used to compliment the spices here. I’m a fool for hedione and heliotrope and the way that creed has utilized these notes amalgamating them in a creamy (not overtly sweet) vanilla base… Creed has just delivered the fragrance I’ve sought for years. I’ve spent thousands sampling, predominantly floral fragrances, so the price really didn’t matter to me.
I’ll get to the Louboutin Boutique so that I can get my nose on Loubirouge.
When it comes to Iris, I stick with Chanel (e.g Misia) and Celine. Delphinus certainly has its own vibe in contrast to the offerings from these two houses. I have a decant of Zou Zou and I’ll get my nose on it and contrast it with Delphinus. I just ordered a bunch of decants of Maison Crivelli and did not include Iris Malikhan, smh 🤦♂️

@@SharidaMas an amber floral, had Delphinus been a release from Guerlain I would’ve found it quite fitting with the house.
For myself this is interesting because if one was looking to spend I’d often just say, “Go with Creed for the spring and summer. Guerlain for the fall and winter.”
Honestly I am just delighted that I can now go with either house year round.
I will absolutely not be buying either one of these. In the future if they end up at the discounters and I hear enough good reviews on Delphinnus and I sample it first, then maybe that one could end up in my collection. But I’m not a huge lover of iris dominant fragrances, so it’s probably unlikely. I sell men’s fragrance for a living at a department store and one of the most returned items is a creed fragrance that’s very popular. People buy these because of the hype and then realize they could’ve used that $500 on something much more gratifying. I think creeds prices are just straight up stupid.

Unfortunately, they sell the masculine offerings for the same as U.S.A msrp. Therefore I am not expecting a lower price for either Centaurus or Delphinus 100ml bottles respectively.
Hopefully my presumptions prove false though.

A lot of men find Delphinus more feminine leaving. And more women seem to be gravitating towards this one of the two. Both unisex scents but on my skin I don’t get much leather and all I get from Tuscan Leather is a strong leather.

So I thought I was tripping! Selfridges and Harrods is always hundreds of dollars less and I thought I was losing my mind….maybe I will try there…but then the shipping is insane
@@SharidaM Theoretically it has to do with the Purchasing Power Parity of the US compared to that in the UK and EU. Being that the United States has a higher PPS to GDP, people in the U.S are capable of spending more.
In reality it’s just because Creed is capable of getting away with it.
@@SharidaMI just checked and it’s now $431 US dollars and shipping is like $40ish. I ordered mine from another legit authentic site that I always order from for $325 fur 100ml
